@@cassinihuygens72 not rude at all! its better to have animals cremated because dead animals can carry diseases that harm not only other animals, but humans too. if you call a vet they can set up a cremation and give you the ashes in a lovely little box. my cat died during a surgery(old cat, we knew there was a chance he wouldnt make it), and they gave us his ashes in a box that matched his brother, and an inking of his paw print. all in all its better for the health of creatures and the environment to have an animal cremated!

(I’d also prefer to be buried myself) I would also consider aquamation, which is basically cremation but with water. It’s an alternative that may be better for the environment, but I’m unsure if it’s legal in all states. Personally that’s my opinion, but I see why the puppy would need to be cremated in this case. :)

For most a local foundation helped me find adopters but some never left..i always have circa 14 with me who are "permanent resident".. get ready to never have a day off nor being able to spontaneously get away for a weekend or a vacation... it is a lot of work, constant dedication and lot of heartache sometimes to but the joy one feels seeing them happy is the greatest reward ever.. When I was a kid my mum worked in a coffee lounge and someone had chained a german shepherd up on some waste ground to die. He was feral, and was utterly terrified. Mum took food and water out to him every day, getting a little closer each time until she was able to go right up to him and stroke him. After a few more days he was excited and happy to see her and she put a lead on him and brought him home. She named him Sam and he was the sweetest dog you could ever ask for. My sister and I were both very small and he absolutely adored us. He lived a happy life and died about 8 years later in his sleep.This was over 30 years ago now and I still think of him a lot. I even named my latest puppy Sam in his memory. Anyone who abandons an animal to die deserves to be chained upside down and pecked to death by birds. They rely on us utterly for everything and in return they give us their all.
I think that Bingo was found as a sort of replacement for the puppy that was lost.. At least Bingo found happiness, even if Starfall died when it was in reach ;-;

You saw what happened to other pup, homeless pups have lowered than 50% survival chance. I'd rather have a pup that is alive and requires special treatment than pup that is dead.
Anastasia Samoylik it's sad because the puppies could have diseases that can go unnoticed and be fatal if not taken care of. That and for all we know they could have been flea ridden and a lot of the time when people get an animal that has fleas they just turn it over to the shelter (usually a high kill shelter because people don't do their research)

Also, I didn't ever see anyone turning in animal for flees, anti-flea treatments are sold over the counter and cost as cheap as 3.50$. Death pate of home pups is extremely lower than that of homeless pups, even in southern states.

At-least it was not tortured alive like thousends of dogs in china are every day.

When I was a kid my mum worked in a coffee lounge and someone had chained a german shepherd up on some waste ground to die. He was feral, and was utterly terrified. Mum took food and water out to him every day, getting a little closer each time until she was able to go right up to him and stroke him. After a few more days he was excited and happy to see her and she put a lead on him and brought him home. She named him Sam and he was the sweetest dog you could ever ask for. My sister and I were both very small and he absolutely adored us. He lived a happy life and died about 8 years later in his sleep.This was over 30 years ago now and I still think of him a lot. I even named my latest puppy Sam in his memory. Anyone who abandons an animal to die deserves to be chained upside down and pecked to death by birds. They rely on us utterly for everything and in return they give us their all.

Raymon Tutewohl yea but chances of surviving bottle-feeding at a warm house are way higher than while living outside with the mom. You saw what happened to other pup, homeless pups have lowered than 50% survival chance. I'd rather have a pup that is alive and requires special treatment than pup that is dead.
Anastasia Samoylik it's sad because the puppies could have diseases that can go unnoticed and be fatal if not taken care of. That and for all we know they could have been flea ridden and a lot of the time when people get an animal that has fleas they just turn it over to the shelter (usually a high kill shelter because people don't do their research)

Also, I didn't ever see anyone turning in animal for flees, anti-flea treatments are sold over the counter and cost as cheap as 3.50$. Death pate of home pups is extremely lower than that of homeless pups, even in southern states.
