Great video! I just purchased a new Livescope, and I’m going to install it myself this week sometime. My question is, do I mount it to the trolling motor, or a separate pole mount setup? I will be fishing for walleyes too on Green Bay, and it seems like some people like the pole mount and some like the trolling motor mount.

I just keep mine set at factory. I never change it. That way I can look at a map and know every time exactly what’s what. 10 and less is red. 30+ is green

Damn boy those were beautiful walleye. I have been walleye fishing since right before I left for the Marines back in 2003 when I was 18. I had gotten bored with bass and trout fishing and since I started walleye fishing I never went back to other species. When I got back from Afghanistan and my 4yrs was over I caught a lot those first 5yrs back in the Susquehanna River and Bald Eagle Creek here in central Pennsylvania. But I never hammered them like you got here. My dad got one 30" in the Bald Eagle one day when we were fishing. He limited out that day and that was like a freak of nature for us. I never got one over 27" as many as I caught. Some day maybe

Lake Michigan is a better spot based on my fishing experience between the two imo

How good is walleye fishing in the winter out there? I’ve never caught walleye.

Interesting thing to me is that gold coloring. I spent decades fishing the western basin of Erie and in the fall off the eastern edge of the basin in the big hogs roamed in packs and were as gold as they come. You caught some nice fish

Real fisherman don't need all that expensive crap to catch fish.
