Twin tub washing machine 👍
The Rhinemann Exchange mini-series was first broadcast in 1977.
I was today years old when I discovered that Una Stubbs was the voice of one of the Bisto Kids.
Stork S B voiced by Richard Briers.
Goblin Teasmade voiced by John Le Mesurier.
Atora voiced by Patrick Allen.
Donald Sinden in (and voicing) JVC ad.
Bisto voiced by Bernard Cribbins.
L'Aimant sounds like Anton Rodgers.
Noel Edmonds in British Gas.
Austin Princess voiced by William Franklyn.
Nice one - I would never have guessed!
Villa from Blake's 7 eating stork.
Drive washing powder by Michael Jayston
- I thought the girls Bisto voice was done by Una Stubbs
Thanks for the upload. You won't believe this, but I'm watching an episode of Thriller from 1975 (uploaded by Matt Smith) and I wanted authenticity, so I'm here watching relevant ads between the parts 1, 2 and 3. Takes me back :-D
Great ads xx
Vila from Blake's 7 at 2:57 lol
VPL existed in the 70s!
Not 75 Man From Atlantis was 77 or 78. Good ads though, cheers.
Beecham's powders. Yes! She should have remembered you know! Standard.
These ads are from 1977 because that's when Gone in 60 Seconds was released here
Very depressing how many of those I remember (p.s. good old housewives :-)
Although somewhat cheesy ads I most certainly prefer them to today's continuous noise by which I am none the wiser what the ad is all about 😂 I mute when ads come on now because they are not interesting or informative....and now I'm showing my age 😮
Margarine- disgusting stuff
Generation Xers: 'Ahh, Bisto !'
Milennials: 'R. Bistow ?'
Remember, don't copy the Man from Atlantis...learn to act properly from a qualified drama instructor.
