Thank you, Kate! I’ve been considering MailerLite for quite some time, I just haven’t had a chance to get there. I’ve been with MyNewsletterBuilder for about 15 years, and that platform really doesn’t work for me anymore. Plus, I have a whole new audience, so it’s a good time to switch platforms. I’m so glad you included MailerLite in your review! Question about their subscribers page, what’s the difference between segments and groups? Thank you again! 😊🙏🏽✨💖
Oooo yay! If I was starting again I’d 100% go with mailerlite based on the quick walkthrough I did and the pricing. I’m planning to do some tutorials on the platform soon 😉 here’s an article that explains groups vs segments (let me know if it doesn’t make sense) www.mailerlite.com/video-tutorials/groups-vs-segments
I switched to MailEngine, as I saw some unique features such as a content spinner, spam-word detector, and URL spinner. Such features and its affordable cost, just made me buy this tool. And I'm glad to choose this one. It works amazing and is very much suitable for newbies as well.
Oh my GOD! I've been sending emails via Constant Contact for years and could NEVER figure out why ALL the emails were going to Promo. I'm an IMAGE Freak - videos, yadda yadda...but I'm a service business (Concierge Physician). Thank you so much for that pearl. Question - Do videos cause the same effect? Sometimes I'd send a newsletter with just the video if I'm providing a quick update. Should I include ANY photos? I've left CC - now with MC but likely switching to Mailerlite which is why I clicked on your video. I just hit the subscribe AND the bell! Thank you for your wisdom and professional presentation of information.
Hey Tess!!! Yayyy I’m glad that helped 👏🏼 image for image sake is not worth it in email but you can add gifs (assuming that’s what you mean by video). Try just adding one with the rest being text (including links) and see how you go. You might find this video helpful too ua-cam.com/video/fkX_5ey4dQQ/v-deo.html
Thank you so much Kate! I really appreciate and trust your advise. I'm starting a company and had searched all over and I feel your review was the best I found.
I'd go with Mailerlite! I think it's going to have all the functionality you need then if you need to upgrade, it'll be the most affordable. I'm planning on doing a "get started with email marketing for free using Mailerlite" tutorial soon, so let me know if that sounds interesting to you!
