Finding your channel was like finding a sunken treasure ship. It's well hidden, but worth a ton of gold. I can't tell you how I appreciate these videos. Keep it up man. Never give up. Soon your catalogue will outnumber the vast jazz library of Hal Leonard, or perhaps you've already done so in the jazz department.
Wow, sounds great. Didn't know this song. Normally I'm not into this kind of guitar playing but this one raises my curiosity to explore it in detail. Thanks.
This,as many other Brazilian rythms you transcribed, is not in a 4/4 time signature rather than a 2/4 time signature

Thanks for the info, but it seems to me that it would look strange with everything in 16th notes. It's easier to read in 8th notes, form my point of view. Maybe I should write it in 2/2?
@ it's not strange, the 2/2 time signature is technically not wrong but it's rather uncommon. If you look up any choro, samba or any other Brazilian rythm you'll see they're full of 16th notes
This is beautiful, thank you! It would be awesome if you could do “Odeon” arranged by Paulinho too. This version is beautiful but it’s very hard to find a good transcription (besides i dont read sheet music that well haha)
Question Leduc: How do you input the notes? Via mouse? Via keyboard? Thanks and it is always good to see one more transcription specially from one of my early influences.

Hi Carlos, I input the tab with my keyboard using the arrow to navigate and +/- to change the notes divisions, then I correct the accidentals using a shortcut that cycle through flats and sharps. I hope it answer your question, Cheers! I'm using Guitar Pro btw
You've got to do some Tommy Emmanuel! I know he isn't exactly a jazz guitarist, but he's so good! Lots to be learned. He has a really cool version of Moon River and he just released a beautiful version of his song Stay Close to Me.
OMG, the dissonant chords are just *beautiful.* Paulinho Nogueira was a master of harmonization!

Well said
Remarkable, really
So fortunate that Paulinho did this, and that Francois did the tabs! The original song has some of the most beautiful lyrics ever.

O Paulinho Nogueira era realmente um mago.
Best jazz guitar notation on YT hands down.
