I am a Duck fan. I do think Ohio St, Oregon and Michigan are the 3 best in B1G, with Penn St right there with Michigan. If I was to bet I would say Ohio St and Oregon will meet twice with Oregon winning both times. B1G champs 1st season.
The PAC 12 messed up because of greed, now it is what it is, I'm gonna miss the PAC 12 immensely, but looking forward to new challenges in the new conference, as always go u freakin mighty ducks!!!
I soft disagree with Spencer's take on the B10 move. Conference realignment sucks for a few reasons, top among them is teams like Ore St & WSU getting left out. However, I don't think tradition is one of the reasons. Tradition is one of those overused words that people use to halt progress or any change. Traditions can be beneficial but if your only argument for keeping a tradition is that is what we've always done then maybe it's not one worth keeping. The same way change just for the sake of change is not always the best. The move to the B10 kept us in a league with arguably our 2-biggest rivals, USC & the Huskies. If we keep the Civil War going we will keep all of our most important games from rivalry perspective. While there was a great rivalry with Stanford for a bit and we have had trilling games in Pullman or the desert. If we are being honest, do we really care about beating those teams or are they just another game on the schedule? I can't understand how someone could say playing those Pac-12 teams is better than adding teams like Penn St, Michigan & Ohio St to the mix. Then you have teams like Wisconsin, Michigan St, Nebraska, & Iowa that will be in the mix from time to time. Heck, I am even excited for Under Armor vs Nike game. So yes, conference realignment has some negative aspects but from a purely Duck's fan standpoint this is far more gained than lost. We keep important rivalries plus add at least another 2 mega games to the schedule every year.
I agree, and while I am one of the people that feel nostalgia and a little disappointment in how fast the game is changing, there will always be good that comes from it that we can't forsee. In time it will all come together and itll be a lot of fun.
The game will truly never be what it was, unfortunately as CFB fans, we refuse to give up our Fandom and we have to ride the highs and lows. But in time the new conference will definitely give us a ton of exciting moments
@@Bigtenshow I hope your right. I guess I should be thankful that we at least get to play Oregon State. That's a awesome rivalry. I wonder what team will be next or what conference.🤔🤔🤔😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

I remember Penn St - before they joined the BIG10. They had been a powerhouse Independent Program prior for a long time - so consequently many of their fans professed they would dominate & both Michigan and Ohio State would have to move over ! --- Fast Forward since 1992 > PS won 3 big 10 Titles (in what 33 seasons?) -- while OHIO STATE won 17 & Michigan 11. - - - USC & OREGON & W & UCLA ........ ???
excited. Like Spencer mentioned our front 7 will need a lot of young guys to step up especially at the linebacker position and Interior Dline. We've pulled a lot of good talent for the front 7 but I think how good the defense does goes based off the depth and play of the young rotation players. Unless our qb play sucks, the offense will be just as good if not better than last year.
Spencer should lobby that Oregon and Washington join the Big12... The whining of the pac12 teams in the Big10 is tiring.... can't go a video without him taking digs at the situation. We heard you... 10000000 times
I was on "pins & needles" for last season after Bo announced he was coming back for his final season. I had high expectations. I'm on pins and needles even more this upcoming season after the people that Dan Lanning has brought in. My expectations are just as high for 24. Plus the fact that Burch and Bassa are coming back on defense. Defense wins championships. Getting the #3 recruiting class for 2024 has me wondering. Is this the year Oregon nibbles at the chance to be in a Natty and win it? Oregon fans are on the edge of their seat waiting to find out.
I agree that the Ohio State game is a coin toss and should be a great game. I am strongly considering going to the Wisconsin game and I can't be the only one. What's the tailgate like in Madison in November? I think Oregon should certainly be a top 10 team and make the playoff but we had better PILE DRIVE the Huskies this year... 0 and 3 against butt sniffers is intolerable!
The pac 12 held Oregon back. Even when we won the conference and the Rosebowl we were never given the respect. The perception nationally will change for Oregon if they win the BIG.
Oregon 11-1. I personally love that Oregon is going into the BIG10. I was getting tired and bored of watching some of the PAC 10 games. Oregon vs Stanford in the Bay Area. When is the last year you can remember Stanford being good? The Arizona schools, Oregon State and Washington State were just boring games. I am looking forward to Oregon vs Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan St, USC, Wisconsin. Those are just classic matchups. Much better. In the PAC, the only games that really were good, were Oregon vs. Utah, SC and Washington. The rest were mediocre. I am glad they moved on.

We aren't saying they will necessarily, but to be fair, they will be the best team that isn't named Ohio State and their future is extremely bright under Lanning. It is feasible. I get your point though about earning it, they will have to no doubt.
I am a Nebraska fan, I flew out to Lincoln to watch that Michigan / Nebraska game and I can tell you that Michigan defense was just different, in person even moreso. That Defensive Line gave Milroe fits and then came in there and made Penix's head spin. He was lost back there in the pocket and rattled from really the 2nd quarter on
Spencer is always a great guest. Lanning would take the Chief's job as well, but Reid can put up with more temper tantrums and CDL's highest and best use is in the college ranks for the foreseeable future.
We had so much fun chatting with him, took us about 30 minutes to get started because we were just talking prior to the show. lol The good thing with Lanning, he has all the time in the world to figure out his next move, but it is hard to find a better position than the one he is in. These elite recruiters are just made for the college ranks.
Y'all are not coming to B10 an taking over!! Playing Colorado, Cal, Stanford, Oregon st, UCLA, Washington st etc aint it! Any givin week You can take a loss! Oregon is eventually going to have to develop players an not count on portal! Yall have a losing record All time vs B10 an thats having Months to prepare. Now you have to play back to back to back to Etc!! We will see!! Welcome to B10!! See Y'all in Autzen in September!!
We definitely don’t have a losing record against the B1G wtf are you talking about 🤣🤣🤣who in the B1G besides Ohio state can compete with the product we putting on the field this year???
It’s more than 20 mil. Most people don’t know but he also gets Nike Stock if he sticks with Oregon. He’s not going anywhere. But teams will keep trying.
We had a ton of fun with Spencer though! However, we do plan on bringing multiple reporters on from each team so we also get some differing viewpoints so thank you for the recommendation
I'm a lot older than Spencer and have enjoyed Pac football for last 2 or 3 decades. But it needed to die. Only UW, UU, and UO have consistently taken their football programs seriously over the last decade. Most teams were just lame. Whereas Oregon's 2024 schedule is great. All interesting games from Boise State on.
And what's there win/loss record in playoffs or national championships game? Or pac12 titles? Yes I believe Oregon can compete with any bigten team but to me most important stats is how are they in Big games.
@clarencewalder2985 ~ Oregon is 1 of 10 teams in the entire country to win a playoff game and since 2010, Oregon has won Two Fiesta Bowls and Three Rose Bowls since 2010..
Oh there will be plenty of green at opposing venues outside of the team's that regularly fill stadiums with their fans, which isn't a ton. I know I'm excited to get up to Lincoln when yall ultimately go back to play Nebraska
@@larrychannell7056I get what they're saying though with some of these stadiums. There's just a large contigent of Ducks fans In these cities that will show out to the games too. But the bigger teams, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn St. Etc, you're right
@@lfbpfishing7818 True! Really, the only way a small media market school like Oregon has survived the current landscape and been able to earn a bid to the B10 is by developing itself as a national brand over the last 20 years. (Saying this as a Portlander and a 30+ yr Duck fan. 🦆)
We had a great time with him on the show. We will be rotating different reporters through though so hopefully everyone can find something they like! If you have recommendations feel free to let us know!
Boo hoo hoo, bust out the tiny violin! Things change every day in everyone and everything. Oregon maintains all the meaningful rivalries and has the opportunity to take the next step. The only team from the Pac I will miss playing is Utah. Besides that, set it on fire and move on. I swear people are sulking over it like an ex girlfriend that left them.
Strange mentality. Cal rain games are classic. Playing Indiana and Maryland is going to be lame. But what's done is done. Can't wait to run the big 10. Natty bound go ducks
Those 2 things aren't mutually exclusive. People are allowed to feel nostalgia about the game that we grew up with changing and still be excited for the future. Lose that negativity and judgment.
Be proud UW because that run is over! It took an injury to our QB last year and your QB (and others playing their best games) playing perfect games to beat us this year, so congrats it’s over, enjoy your rebuild!
Y’all barely beat us with our injured qb last year and both games this year were close and y’all had 20 plus seniors with like 8 or 9 of them were 6th year guys.
These elite recruiters are just made for the college ranks.
the chiefs job is NOT better than at OREGON.
Lanning's buyout being 20 million makes schools go to other coaches
LOL!!!! He Told Alabama I Don't want you!!!!
Which is what Lanning wanted when he signed it. He wanted recruits to know he was staying.
It’s more than 20 mil. Most people don’t know but he also gets Nike Stock if he sticks with Oregon. He’s not going anywhere. But teams will keep trying.
Should have brought Max Torres on the show instead.
We had a ton of fun with Spencer though! However, we do plan on bringing multiple reporters on from each team so we also get some differing viewpoints so thank you for the recommendation
Max is a recruiting guy they not talking about recruits this show
Penn st thought the same when they first came lol
I'm a lot older than Spencer and have enjoyed Pac football for last 2 or 3 decades. But it needed to die. Only UW, UU, and UO have consistently taken their football programs seriously over the last decade. Most teams were just lame. Whereas Oregon's 2024 schedule is great. All interesting games from Boise State on.
~ Oregon is 6 - 3 vs the Big10 in the last decade and 16 - 9 vs the Big10 since 1990........
Oregon's team is built to compete with anyone, anywhere, they will be fine in the Big 10 for sure.
Good to have Spencer on. He has great content regarding the Ducks. Look forward to the matchups in the B1G but will miss some pac 12 rivalries
How many B1G stadiums will Oregon sell out just because fans want to see them...
Oh there will be plenty of green at opposing venues outside of the team's that regularly fill stadiums with their fans, which isn't a ton. I know I'm excited to get up to Lincoln when yall ultimately go back to play Nebraska
The Oregon fan base is national. We aren't all located in our home state.
Big Ten stadiums generally sell out or close to it! Has Nothing to do with Oregon!!!!! Man are guys full of yourself much????!!!!!!!!
Spencer is insufferable
We had a great time with him on the show. We will be rotating different reporters through though so hopefully everyone can find something they like! If you have recommendations feel free to let us know!
I disagree. Spencer has a lot of good knowledge to share. His input is very valuable.
@@lisapeterson1549 okay, Spencer’s mom
Oregon has to get by Washington first and don’t see that happening anytime soon
lol
👀👀
Washington is in rebuild this year so Oregon shouldn’t have any problems with WASHINGTON
Oregon was one of the most successful of the youngest teams out there. How quickly you forget the decade plus the Ducks dominated the pups.
