This happened to me.😢 I have been through 2 years of VT and my prescription has lowered. I am very interested to hear your thoughts on how to know if your going too low in the prescription.
same for me. currently wearing multifocal contact lenses to relax the accomodation of the eye cuz i got small misalignment because of overprescription. :( had symptomps of mild double vision and they still come back sometimes.
Several years ago I had lens replacement surgery for cataracts. Ended up with a pretty nice distance vision with no glasses, and use 1.75 or 2.0 reading glasses for computer work. Now, I'm finding with night driving on the freeway I'm getting double vision, that's worse when I'm tired. Since I'm not wearing glasses when driving given my focus is good at distance, I can't just lower my prescription by taking glasses off that I'm not wearing. Would that mean that I should re-adjust my near vision by using different magnifiers for the computer?
First off, your doc should be able to review your prescription. But if they don't think you can actually lower your prescription then you may have a challenge there.
