My blood sugar runs abt 123 after I eat then drops 99/106. My dr insists am pre diabetic...I have friends who are diabetic and run 200+.Am little over weight. But working on that walking 3miles per day. Should I be chastised by my dr , am thinking of changing drs. I hate being badgered or threaten with meds all other blood test am perfectly fine.. Dr Ergin, how long do I need to rest before I start mild exercise by exercise bike ? What would be a good time to cycle post prandial to aim for lower sugar spikes ? Thanks & Happy New Year !
Thanks for your useful video. I was prediabetic a year ago with an A1C 5.7 . I chose low carb diet and 30 minutes walking every day and got my A1C back to 5.3. I normally have dinner between 5-6 P.M which rises my blood sugar upto 140. After two hours my blood glucose drops to 105-108 and I go out for 30 minute walk. After walking my blood glucose drops to 77-80. I wake up at 5:30 and find my glucose between 95-100. Why does it rise night time? Is it normal ? I sometimes wake up with 92 blood glucose too but don’t know what is good and what not. I hope you make it easier .

I am diagnosed diabetes so been doing intermittent fasting and just notice that my fasting blood sugar levels are equal or sometimes slightly higher than the after meal level. E.g 2-3 hours after meal could be 5.8-6.0 and fasting measurement next morning could be 6.1. so what really is the problem?
Early morning (around 6 - 7 AM) is higher but when I check it again at around 10 AM it decreases (still on fasting). What should be ideal time to check in morning for genuine reading?
During the day after eating my blood sugar use to be 98or 108. But in the morning it's use to be 135, 137. My eating habit I used to eat before 5pm Nigeria time. Please what should I do to bring it down.
Sounds like you are reading my mind...use to think high blood sugar was 300 plus...now after listening to you...realize it is under 200. And so true about it being too low while sleeping.
Thank you so much for your kind helpful videos. Do you have any suggestions or videos about what is a good bedtime snack? We eat supper at 5:00 but I am always hungry before I go to bed. I usually have a handful of almonds and a piece of dark chocolate. Is there something better that would be filling but not raise blood sugar? Thank you!
High blood sugar in the morning could also be a result of Insulin Resistance caused due to over medication. Has any study been done in this regard? How do you conclude that a patient is not being over drugged? As a patient these are my concerns. I can share my experiences if you need. All my experience is based on observations about my blood sugar levels and do not come from a medical personnel.
I have a question, for someone who has normal blood sugars throughout the day, however in the morning it’s risen 6.3?! Also on a diet and physical activity but yet still 6.3 high blood sugars in the morning

Thank you!

Is physiological high blood sugar is dangerous ?
constant pathological high blood sugar can damage organs and lead to complications.
My fasting sugar levels have been 125 or 130 but as soon as I get it goes down to 100- 117 is that normal?
Taking Metamucil with a meal can drop the sugar spike
High blood sugar in the morning could also be a result of Insulin Resistance caused due to over medication. Has any study been done in this regard? How do you conclude that a patient is not being over drugged? As a patient these are my concerns. I can share my experiences if you need. All my experience is based on observations about my blood sugar levels and do not come from a medical personnel.
Will appreciate your input so others will learn.
I have a question, for someone who has normal blood sugars throughout the day, however in the morning it’s risen 6.3?! Also on a diet and physical activity but yet still 6.3 high blood sugars in the morning
