Some people are here saying that she is not as artistic as Mao or Carolina,may be she is not,but she skates clean programs and her jumps are all made with the right jumping technique and right edge. She is not as artistic as Mao but she is still ok,much more mature than all those 15 yo girls.I actually enjoy her both SP and LP,she has her own style and its nice.

Some people claim that Liza's score is too high because her PCS is too high compared with Kim Yuna and they claim that Liza should have get 74. But, it is nonsense. This is because rules are changing and in first place we can't compare PCS scores of different competitions. It is nonsense only to compare scores. The most important thing is how great performances skaters show. I want to see difficult program because figure skate is a sport. Sports should keep developing. I'm so happy to watch her great performance. She is the first woman to do 4 triple jumps in SP.
And even with 4 triples she could not surpass yuna or even mao scores, what does that tell you? that even if you dont agree figure skating is not only a sport, theres more that only jumps jumps & jumps, this is not a jumping competition and is the artistic part what still bring fans all over the world, maybe in some years that'll change and the most dificult rutine (even witout being made correctly, with expresion, moving coreography or with good GOE) will won fairly, but its not the time yet.

Secondly, Mao's base value was 2.13 points lower than Liza, but Mao got level4 on all elements (Liza didn't get level4 on all elements) and her PCS score is higher than Liza's. So, Liza got a little lower score than Mao.

But as you can see. a lot of skater did triple combination in the first jumps; it is very hard to women to doing triple -triple in the later, liza needs to get Plus points, cuz she is olny women doing triple -triple in the last jumps ... after she did many elements. 3A 3lz lay back spin step perform,,, and so on,,,
The short program is only 2 minutes 15 seconds, so there is no bonus awarded for doing jumps in the later half of the program. That's only awarded in the long program, after the 2 minute mark.

That Triple Axle is great!! I did not see it coming, not really because I was used to "long" pre-jump phases with a lot of knee-bend from Mao Asada and Elizaveta made it look so damn easy! O.o
Yuna is still flawless figure skater. The legend. Yuna and Elizaveta are soooo different but they are both great. I think Elizaveta can be an 2018 Olympic champion in Soth Korea. Great country and best place to became an Olympic champion at home of Queen Yuna.
That is technically amazing but because bolero is kinda sensitive and delicate mysic I wish there was little power on that. Ir she could have chosen more powerful music.
Impressive performance, but she should consider herself lucky that Mao and Kim have both retired. No way would she have beaten either of those girls with under-rotated jumps and botched landings.
Let's put it this way. If she has that competition, she would have been marvelous in her LP. But she's way too ahead and she could have fallen twice and would still win the worlds. She would have beaten everyone -- even with Kim and Asada. Enough said.
Come on, she is 17 years old, neither Mao nor Yuna had such results when they were 17. She should consider herself lucky because she has eternal talent and amazing coach.

She's technically very strong, but I don't enjoy looking at Her. She's artistically a beginner. I dont see any connection with the music. Look at kostner, kim, or Asada. They don't need to land for triples to hit that score.

Mao Asada land executed triple axel jumps only 12 year old in international competition.. 17 year old!!! Huge difference age gaped !!!
