That's great that you were having beautiful hot sunny weather! Yes most of the stapelias do look alike, but the flowers are different and they stink!!! Both my Stepelias and Hylocereus stay in the greenhouse during the winter. They shrivel quite a bit, but seems to always make it. They may do well because of the low humidity in my greenhouse during the winter when I'm using the wood stove. Bet they will be happy to get the sunlight and air!!! Thanks for sharing Lyn!!! Oh no with the rain in Spain Donald, its been really lovely weather here and very sunny and warm, but they have forecast a lot of rain from Wednesday onwards, I think we are having Spain's weather LOL!, it was so good to get moving the plants out into the polytunnel and thankfully thats all the plants put away and it feels so good to have more space in the house again haha, thanks so much Donald for your wonderful comment and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to Northern Spain for a fantastic new week XXXX

How do you recommend rooting Lophs? I just got the L. fricii cluster in the mail. It is my second time trying to root it :)
Hi Andrew :-D I rooted my Loph fricii pups by potting them up in pure pumice and then lightly watering the top surface every 4 days to encourage rooting, you can use pure grit too, place the cluster on top of the pumice or grit and mist the very top surface of the grit or pumice every 4 days, keep your cluster in a bright well lit location but away from strong sunshine until they have re rooted, good luck with rooting your fricii and thanks so much Andrew for your wonderful comment and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a wonderful weekend XXXX

I've got a few Dragon fruits Lyn, they haven't done anything yet though. I've got shade netting right over the shop polytunnel. Keeps the worst of the sun off 🙂 Hope you and Hans have a lovely evening 😊😊🌵🌵
