I already have servo controlled trim tabs on all 3 control surfaces operated by a hat switch on the control stick. Can I integrate those into this autopilot?

Not for most people. I followed along just fine. If you know the usual modes of autopilots (HDG, NAV, ALT, VS, IAS), it's all really straightforward.
