How often do you stretch out your flouro mate please ...excellent vlog i like the shrink tube tip over the chod hook to stop the multi looped section slipping 👌 youve just earned a subscriber cheers
Thanks mate much appreciated 🤙 tbh I stretch it out at the start of every session and if I was going to do a second night on there I would of stretched it again exactly the same way as at the start of the session because over time it regains its tension and that’s what causes the awful casting and twisting in it,Fluro is a high maintenance line and sometimes seems a lot of agro but in the right situation it really does come into its own,I maybe should of switched to mono so I could of gone further out but there was no fish in front of me anyway 😂 hope that helps you out 👍
@@eastcoastsurfer cheers mate ,never bothered with flouro myself as I have always thought it to wireybut your technique seems to eliminate that problem ,may even give flouro a do now lol
@@trigger4616 just be prepared for your casting range to decrease by around 25% and remember to wind it in through a cloth either during the session or the to stop it becoming lake stained …maybe see you out there sometime 🤙
Thanks mate it’s a mega venue and the Vaseline stops the hook from rusting or corroding,when you sharpen the hook you take the coating off so the bare metal can rust quickly and the point then snaps or goes over making your hook blunt,plus if your fishing a pop up rig you know if you’ve been done cause if the Vaseline has gone it’s been hooked and ejected but if it comes back on the hook like both my rigs did I just know I’ve not been on fish 😂 thanks for watching 🤙

@@leewakey7733 no problem at all mate and tbh from what I remember pit 1 used to be the easiest of the 6 pits but still not a walkover,pit 6 is a big body of water but tbh plenty of bait in there is what most of the successful people seem have good sessions on from memory,don’t be disheartened if you go and blank it’s common there but there are some lovely fish in every pit so just go on which pit you like the look of the most and fish how you feel comfortable…most important thing is to enjoy it and everyone I’ve ever met on there are all bang on people and thanks for the subscription 🤙
