    Oh My absolutely love Majestic Toni!!!! You go girl that was a magnificent pose! Maintenance already ugh! Nice job with the logo I giggled when she looked at you and gave the wife WHAT??? See you all soon cant wait to see it all in person! Oh we were going to have more stuff added to our rig is Toni for hire?

      That Toni Towe is rather majestic in my book 😉. As for maintenance it was more preventative than anything. You own an RV you're gonna be doing maintenance! As for hiring Toni, she loves doing stuff with her little Cricut machine so I'm guessing YES! She'll probably give ya the friends and family discount as well!

      Thanks Henry!! We've had some really great sunsets here, it's one of the things we love about this park. Thinks are going good on our end, just super busy with the corporate production work. Toni and I really want to get back out on the road, but we gotta fill that bank account!!

    Great tips. Not sure why they put speakers underneath.

    • @ourrvsunsets
      @ourrvsunsets  7 місяців тому

      I actually like the speakers underneath. The last trailer we had the speakers were way up high and it seemed like they were hard to hear at times. With these that are closer to where your ears are. However, we haven't put a lot of miles on our rig yet so it will be interesting to see how well they hold up being down there.

    What is the weight rating for the ladder? At 6’5” and 275, I’m not as svelt as I once was. Also, what axles come with z 3100? Dexter EZ Lube or the sealed NevRLube? Thanks so much!

    • @ourrvsunsets
      @ourrvsunsets  5 місяців тому

      For the ladder weight it's a bit confusing. In the manual it says 300lbs, but the sticker by the ladder says 250lbs. I'll ping the Brinkley folks and see if I can get an answer. In our case I (Mike) exceed both those weights so Toni gets to do all the roof stuff.
      For the axels I believe they are the EZ Lube because the manual suggests repacking the bearings every 12 months.

    Why wouldn't you also put the conditioner on the inside of the seal? Also, did you put conditioner on the inside seals? If so, how, because it's a pain when I do it inside, especially the bedroom slide.

    • @ourrvsunsets
      @ourrvsunsets  7 місяців тому +1

      Excelent question! I don't condition the inside because that's not the part that is being exposed to the sun. In my brain It's the sun and the elements that really do damage to the the seal.
      But now that you brought that up I'm going to go do a little research and see if I'm doing this all wrong! Thanks for the comment!!

      Wrap a microfiber on a wooden yardstick to wipe the inside of seal.

    You have to keep up with the maintenance. Too many people let it go too long and then it’s too late. I don’t think Toni was amused with your jokes. Shelley Kaye always says “if we are not both laughing, it wasn’t funny”. Great video guys. Hope to see you soon.

    Full body mopping system...cleaning soda spill since 1962. Its called conduit. LOL. I have seen lots of people on the facebook pages complaining about the "tape" job on the brake lines too. I need a video on how to lube the Axles if you ever want to.

    • @ourrvsunsets
      @ourrvsunsets  5 місяців тому +1

      LOL!!! Right! That's exactly what I became as I was rolling around in the pass through. When you mention a video on how to grease the axles are you talking about greasing the wet bolts on the equalizer? Or greasing the bearings? I can easily do a video on the wet bolts, as for the axles I won't have to do that for a year. Thanks for the comment!

    "Just use duck tape" 😱 You've got to be kidding! (stage designer, consultant, technician)
    Tip: don't just touch the pipes, use a tissue. It will pick up and show very small amounts of water.
    Bonus tip: put a worm gear clamp next to the pinch clamp on the flex hose. It will fix/prevent leaks almost as well as replacing the fittings, for far less $ & time!

    • @ourrvsunsets
      @ourrvsunsets  7 місяців тому

      Lol!!! I know, as a stage designer the thought of duct tape is insanity!!! But for something like this, at $22 a roll for Gaffe is a bit of over kill, but I feel your pain! 😁. Good point on the worm gear clamp. I intended to keep an eye on that flex tubing and at any sign of a leak it's getting replaced with worm gear clamps. To be fair there really isn't to much flex tubing on it. It looks to me like its for the black tank flush, the fresh tank fill, and then the water pump. Aside from that it's all pex. Thanks for the comment and I apologize for the duct tape comment 😉

      We hang them in the closet in the bedroom. There’s really not a good coat closet in the rig.

    Did you guys move to a 1 ton truck? Also how much do they charge for a monthly rate there? We are currently staying at Santee lakes. I would imagine it’s quite a bit more expensive there.

    • @ourrvsunsets
      @ourrvsunsets  5 місяців тому

      Yes, we upgraded to a RAM 3500. The Silverado 2500 was not going to be enough truck for the Brinkley.
      As for Sun Outdoors the rate varies depending on the month. We’ve paid anywhere from $1800 to $2300. This April they lost their minds and wanted to charge us $4000 so we moved on. However, it you get on their mailing lists they offer specials from time to time that are great. Toni just booked us back in there for 3 months starting in November for total of 5k. That’s a steal for how nice that place is.
      We’ve done Santee Lakes before as well, but hate the fact that there’s no cell coverage there.
      We love Sun Outdoors for when we’re in town for winter working. It’s centrally located for our work and the amenities really can’t be beat!!
