Hello there I have a question. How do you perform the spin attack with Dragon Sword like you did at 1:05:08? I saw a lot of people doing that but I don't know how to do it myself. Thanks.
It's the 360 UT. The Dragon sword can do two different Ultimate Techniques there is the regular one which is just standing Neutral and holding Y. The Spin is done by quickly Rotating 360 Degrees then holding Y.
You don't unlock anything Unique, But it is an alternate way of unlocking things in the game. Weapon Master Unlocks all difficulties, and Ryu's Costumes. Speed Master Unlocks All Ninja Trials, and Rachel Master Unlocks her Hair Styles. If your quite skilled at the game it's a faster way of unlocking access to things, but it's probably harder then doing it the normal way, save for Speed Master those are fairly easy.
@@StrongArmElijah Those two gave me the most trouble as well. I'll assume you can handle the normal enemies, and it's the bosses you need help with. When it comes to the Vigoorian Flail, Murai is simply enough, you can counter most of his attack easy, he'll just grab you if you get too complacent. Fiend Ryu is probably the hardest part, since he's very hard to land attacks on when he has the Vigoorian Flail, what I did was after unlocking all of the Ninja Trials from getting gold in Speed Master first, I found the Trial that has you fight Flail Fiend Ryu, and I fought him over and over again until I could beat him on Master Ninja with only the Flails. It's a tough fight to figure out, but if you far enough away from him that you both jump and flying swallow you should be able to win the clash. If he manages to counter you on the ground then your pretty much dead since he can combo you to death if he knocks you in the air. Ground combat is very risky against him, the flying swallow is safer if your the right distance. Alma is Alma, so you just do what you usually do against her but it will feel a little different with the flail instead of the Dragon sword, you can try practicing the fight with the Flails during Ninja Trials to get a feel for things, You should always save your Nimpo for Alma since If your lucky you'll deal a Huge amount of damage to her, and Stun her. but still Alma is Alma and she should never be underestimated. Marbus is actually pretty easy, since here he doesn't summon his minions, it's just a matter of waiting for his dive attack, dodging at the right time, and punishing him. but don't combo on him for too long other wise he'll grab you, so don't get greedy. As for Lunar Staff Gamov is like Murai, simple enough to just Counter, but he will grab you if you underestimate him. Berserkers can be countered simple enough too, just when they change to rage mode that will break your guard, don't let them get distance on you because otherwise the can charge and do there combo, sticking close to them and countering is safer, in Sigma at least, they are harder in NG Black. Ishtaros might be the hardest enemy in the game to Read at first, her fast attacks are really overwhelming when you aren't used to her, what you want to do is stick close to her and block and dodge most of her attacks, the move where she kicks you and moves in is when you want to dodge after the Guard break and get a combo on her, that's the safest time to deal damage. Her being at a distance is VERY VERY dangerous due to her Laser attack. Lunar staff Fiend Ryu can be delt with, by using Counters, but like with Flail Ryu, you can practice the fight in Ninja Trails. The 5 Speed Master Survival levels should be easy enough to get gold in to unlock them all.
@@Director_Bison thanks for the advice! I already beat Lunar (barely) and have moved on to the flail. I've beaten the other weapon masters and I really am just stuck on Alma. Before your advice I was never able to damage Alma or just barely get past Fiend Ryu. I usually try to save orbs to UT Fiend Ryu then Flying Swallow him to death if I can. Then I save my ninpo for Alma when she's using her orbs. If I can get past her I can win, what other openings does she have? Playing these Ninja Trials and Survivals have made me far better at the game than playing the story on Normal ever has lmao.

@@Director_Bison I had absolutely no idea you could do that, so if I did these I could unlock the costumes and master nina without having to beat the main game multiple times? I've already done it with ngb and I don't feel like doing the main game so many times again for master ninja
@@CanuckleheadFN Beating Doku in Chapter 2 is also a way to unlock the next tier of difficulty. So beating him on Hard unlocks Very Hard, and beating him on VH unlocks MN, but you wont get any costumes.
@@Director_Bison I think I'm gonna try survival, since it's actually something new to try that wasn't in black, I wasn't very interested in survival until now so I'm glad I found this
Normal kills are the same as usual, but UT's always Drop Blue Essence instead of Large yellow essence, since there is nothing to spend Yellow Essence on in Survival.

what's the requirement for gold scarabs on the speed challenges?
Gold is always 100 kills. The end of the stage is just a good place to be, since enemies respawn there.
also when fighting doku, you dont need to jump away, one roll is the correct direction, and he will almost never be able to hit you

Yes you get the saber sword like starwars but its purple and you get a trophy/achievement

Yes. Every survival challenge requires 100 kills to get gold.
