The best thing to come from covid is the leave at door option for all deliveries 😂 now I never have to interact with people.
Yesss!! I love it haha so much easier
People suck.
@Mule Crusher Agreed
I actually like meeting someone. I guess I'm just weird, but I get tired of being alone in the van with no one to talk to.
@@michaelblackwell7408 I'm the same way, and on top of that they're more likely to tip afterwards or tip cash and give you better ratings, at least from my experience
I don't know how, as a customer, you're pissed at your driver if you tipped the 2 dollars to bring you hot, fresh food on demand. That's just pathetic, honestly
Rightt! It would be nice if DD told pre-warned them it was a stacked order, then I feel like they wouldn't blame drivers lmaooo
I got an order from a Dunkin’ Donuts once… it was low pay outside my area by a lot … it was part of a stack… I didn’t know how to get out of it then… but you can cancel one on stacks… at any rate, the cust was upset about how long it took and didn’t understand why they didn’t order from a closer Dunkin… another time (not a long distance or anything) a guy said he tipped 5 but it turned out to be 3 in the end.
I use to get customers that were mad I just inform them ahead of time incase the order will be late . More than often they understand but I get that one who doesn’t get it . I wish Doordash would warn them someway without losing the customer .
You went way out of your way giving that lady her food in the cubicle...I would've just left it at the front desk and texted her I dropped it off there lol Very nice of you!
Aww thank you!! 💖
Yes, the break room would have been acceptable
U do too much haha they should be aware they have a delivery
That was funny how when you finally found the lady for your order, she was an accountant in a cubicle! You definitely are having a better time doing door dash.
Right?! I couldn't believe it, how full circle & I thought exactlyyy that -- I'm a lot happier now 😁❤️
My husband and I just accept everything above $4 because if we don't we'll be bored on dry times, not to mention we have great gas mileage so it it's not a big deal; weekends our our best days Fri-Sun we make $1200 alone which is great and we have Instacart on the side. It's just fun to drive away and have fun spending time together to get out of the house rather than being two 30 year olds doing nothing at home lol.
Yesss that sounds like it works perfectly! Sometimes I accept the $5 trips too when it's dead lol
Yep me and my wife do the same thing bc we be bored at home. But we started with door dash and now doing uber eats. I don't like how with door dash you have to return to your little circle of town your working in rather then uber eats continuously gives you orders and don't make you go back to a specific location to get a new order which is a waste of time.
I thought the same think. At least, you are active, doing something. I accept most of the orders but once in a while I do accept $3 orders hehhehehe. Sitting still just kills me and is not really good for my health either.
@@christophersanchez8650 what i found out is I end the dash for that shift and then start a new a dash to relocate, I don’t have to go back where I started.
@@christophersanchez8650 you dont have to u can dash anywhere u are located.. just end trip and restart
The crazy part about watching this is the tips, I always tip like 4-8 dollars...
Damnnnn you’re one of the best customers to get!! Aways so awesome when I get customers like you - very appreciated 💖
I hate upset customers because generally it has nothing to do with anything I have done. Actually, I've never done anything 😂 I'm a good person and the job is simple!
Hahah I agree completely 😂
Omg finally a realistic look at what doing doordash is REALLY like lol
I'm digging the vibe of your channel lady. I'll subscribe. Enjoy your journey my friend.
I’m so glad you liked it!! Thank you so much, have an awesome weekend 🔥💖
@@meganrizzz have a dope weekend yourself! Idk if it applies or not, but in case it does, Happy Mothers Day! Lol I'll be looking forward to your adventures while I'm out dashing myself here in lovely Ohio!
I tip high, in hopes that it will deter my dasher from accepting another order. Like $10 for a $40 order. I live in Kaimuki area of Honolulu and there’s like 50 restaurants and cafes within 1 mile of my house. I’m sure there’s tons of other orders poppin up. So far I always got my order within 15 minutes of ordering. Sometimes I’ll add even more tip with cash.
I'd love you as a customer!
That’s the thing. As a dasher, I know DD will pay me at least 2 bucks a trip. So I never take any offers below 5 dollars. I’m sorry but I expect a tip. I’d jump right on your order with a 10 dollar tip. That puts me at at least a 12 dollar offer. I’d travel up to 10 miles for that kind of order. I appreciate your willingness to tip! When I see an order come through for less than 4, that customer expects me to make a measly 10 dollars an hour at most. I’m doing customers a favor. If you can’t tip accordingly, don’t order door dash. I will never understand non-tippers. So again, thank you for supporting the dashers!
Yeah but DD hides tips
That guy in McDonalds was probably noticing how your doordash mask is upside down.
Omgggg I wish he would’ve told me 😂😭
Lmao
Nah it's impossible to tell and that guy looks high on opiates just saying.
You're an absolute gem and your doordash videos brighten my day 🌞
That’s so sweet Isaiah, thank you!! 💖😁
I have a 100% acceptance rate for a total of 210 orders... definitely not great but DD just knows they can count on me if needed LOL
100%?!!! Omgg never did I think I’d meet someone who has that!! Didn’t think it was possible😂 Haha your dedication is unreal 🔥
you're losing money my guy
Lol.. Yeah they can count on you being the fall guy..Smh..
Wow, your either really lucky with your offers or independently wealthy and just Dashing for fun. I'd be flat broke even if I accepted 90%.

Dont worry. Poverty will help you that.

Mines is 28% but I do feel you on picking the right ones because sometimes it isn’t worth drive 5+ miles for $6
Yess it’s just not worth it! But I could see where if your market is slow you’d have to accept what you can get at that point unless you drive somewhere else 😂

I don't think I've heard a single driver even mention the "top dasher" thing in almost a year. Everybody realizes that it's a scam to get drivers to take crap orders. Now DD is trying is trying to hide the crap orders by combining them with other orders but showing a single payout.
Ohhh yeah I’ve seen that!! I always have to check for the extra miles added hah
Love your vibe 😩😍

@@meganrizzz you’re welcome!! Stay strong don’t let people bring you down cuz of what you are doing.
Before I watch your video im going to make this comment. My saying is - NO TIP, NO TRIP! And when I say tip I mean at least 4-5 dollars plus base. I have played this game with DD to long to care anymore. I do this as a side hussle anyway. This "hiding" tip thing doesn't work for me. I have accepted plenty of 2.50 orders and there was never a hidden tip. Not once! I have found plenty of hidden tips in 7-8 dollar orders though. So through my experience I only accept 7 dollar plus orders. By door dash doing their driver's like they do with this hidden tip thing, in my opinion they are getting the wrong results. The orders still bounce around in the system, all the while people's food is getting cold and the customer irritated. And if that person did leave a great tip they are wondering what in the hell is going on. So I think their idea is counter productive in many ways. NO TIP, NO TRIP!
**Edit** also this new sneaky thing they have started doing by stacking orders in the middle of a delivery doesn't work for me either. They are just stealing the driver's money by doing that. DD is going to be their own downfall.
Sameee! No tip no trip & yeah I wish they’d be transparent I feel like I’d be accepting a tonnn more orders
I'd like to ride along you're so full of life and funny :) I've learned alot about what you do.
Aww thanks Greg! (:
Love the pace of your video
Thanks Frank you're so sweet! (:
You did the challenge!!?? Nice! You are brave. You went on some journeys!
Oh yeah!! I wish the camera would’ve been recording I delivered to a homeless resource center!
50% of customer tip zero on Doordash. They have no respect for us as drivers or people in general. Driving to place and then to customer paying for our own gas and they leave no tip. No tip equals no trip for me!
Yeah it's gone downhill!
You just made my go pro decision for me..... I’m not getting one now. Looks like it can be stressful! Great video!!!
It is stressful!! It might be better if I leave it on my head then just record little parts w/ my phone - then I won’t have to keep taking it off haha
It might be a good idea to have something to record with though, just in case you get a bad customer that says you didn't give them their food
@@MrFallior wow you must be psychic!! Sooo right & I’ll always film deliveries now!Just had this happen last night, his wife met me outside & took it, then he called me to say he never got it.. sent him the video & never got a response 😂 itll be in Monday’s video!!

Lol that’s for sureee! Lots of far trips for horrible payouts 😭
I love your videos keep Grinding 💪
Thank you that means the world!! 💖
I have no clue why this is interesting for me to watch when we gave up on Doordash/Postmates must've been two or three years now. Wish we had a video because we had crazy stuff happened every day. Like one time a guy asked us to buy him fries with our own money and he would us back. It was just fries so we did and he ended up giving us a $50 tip. And then one time a guy ordered one pack of gummy worms from the 711 across his house and we got paid $15. What was funny was that you said that you were in Old Vegas where we live. There's really nothing out here ... which is probably why we don't do it anymore.
I'm glad you liked it!! & that sounds wildddd, a $50 tip & $15🔥 ik what you mean nothing is really on that side!
I'm glad someone else caught that.. "Old Vegas"
I know it was the app which said it, but gosh.. I grew up in Las Vegas. If you asked me where "Old Vegas" was, I couldn't tell you. Unless you meant the western theme park they used to have way out on Boulder Highway. 😂
@@WaltDittrich Yes, that's where and why they call it that my neighbor told me.
My craziest was $137 tip for delivering 4 cases of wine
2:45 Mad customer: "i wanted chocolate right here."

Yeah. That guy was a real Karen.
I just got a GoPro hero 9 because of your q&a video. Let’s gooooo

@@meganrizzz I started doordash as well and checked out your videos. Great tips!! Thanks for the content!
I’ve done doordash at 3AM in North town in was sketchy but had a friend with me. Honestly late nights Fridays and Saturdays hit with the best orders…. But I’m all for safety first so I don’t do often very rare 😩💕
That’s good you had a friend! I would do more night deliveries if I had someone to go with, then it wouldn’t be as sketchy 😂😂
I love these! subbing!!
Aww thank you girl!! ❤️
For doubles what you should try is letting them know through text that you’re running late because of your second order. It really helps so you don’t have a pissed off customer ruining your day. But good luck with your dashing 😁
Thank you that’s a really good idea!
Your videos are awesome !! New subscriber here !! 😝
Thank you so much!! Glad to have you here 🥰
7:55 That's actually not quite as bad of earnings as I was thinking! I've been thinking about trying one of these "accept all" challenges. They seem to get a lot of views, but I guess I'm scared to miss out on a day of earnings-- I guess maybe I should think more long-term though... and $20-25/hour is still pretty decent
Yeah it was definitely considered a low day but it was worth it! 😅
See I have a 73 acceptance rate. Usually keep it around 80 so that I have at least 10 orders that can be denied or cancelled if need be to make sure you not under your hourly. I think in an average night I’ll make 45 an hour for less than 3 hours of work.
Wow that’s one of the highest rates I’ve seen! & 45 an hour is really good 🔥
I just realized I saw your shuttle dance video a while back on IG. I didn't realize you were the same person until now lol
No wayyy what a small world!! That’s crazy 😂🔥
I'm at 35% acceptance rate. Im like u. Only like doing orders that are short distance deliveries. But...today I decided to do further out ones. Never ever again! Got lost in a town im not familiar with. Toll road! It was very stressful. I decided its just not worth it! I've noticed the shop and deliver orders pay better. And usually only 4 to 6 items. 😊
Omgg tolls!! Lol I know what you mean it feels so foreign when you go to dash in another area like all the different apartments or areas & restaurants lol but yesss the shop orders aren't bad when it's not too many items 🔥
That’s a pretty cool challenge. New fan here 👍👍❤️
Awww thank you so much!! ❤️
Great videos Megan. I'm watching your videos, very informative. I'm in process of signing up to DD and trying to learn tips to successful dashing. I'm in Wadsworth Oh. Smaller town but fair amount of restaurants, so we'll see?? Keep up the great work!
Thank you for watching!! 💖I wish you luck dashing, if you find that DD isn't really popular I would try another app, different locations favor certain apps sometimes! - for example in FL I used Joyrun a lot, but haven't heard of it here!
@@meganrizzz Thx for the advise! I've been asking diff places when I'm there and most say DD is most popular.
@@adamk6072 that’s such a good idea!! Best to find out from the locals 😂 I’m sure there’s Facebook groups too for DoorDashers in your area!
Some people are super selective about their pickups their loss. I usually tip cash once food is delivered.
My acceptance rate is 42. I will decline a 10$ order going 8 miles because now I’ll be out of dash area and have to drive 8 miles back so you end up driving 16 miles for 10$ which is just above 50 cents a mile. They are not paying my gas screw that !
Yesss Andrew so true!! My first day I didn’t even think about going out of zone but now I’m always watchful, anything over 5 miles is iffy haha
MINE IS LIKE 37% AND IM OVER HERE STRESSING LMAO. thank you for this vid i usually dont accept if its not atleast 1$ per mile.
LMAOOO!! Don't stresss it doesn't affect you unless you wanna be top dasher but you'd have to accept practically alll orders which is crazy lol
As you Doordash more, you'll learn how to make your deliveries quicker. Call the customer en route to their location, especially if the delivery is at a business and either ask them to meet you at the door or ask where you can leave it. Then take a picture and then send the text/picture.
I’ve heard if your acceptance rate percentage gets too low too often that DoorDash takes away the “Dash Now” option, do you know if this is true?
No wayyy not true! Mine has been 0% & I can still dash now - it might be different in your area but i don’t think so, I feel like DD would have to mention that somewhere like they do about your completion rate
Love your channel! New sub here how did u get a foot dash mask?? I didn’t get one with my sign up? Lol
Thank you!! & it came about a week after my first dash in the activation kit - you might see a notification about it in the app!
Gas here is $1.70 a litre and going up again tomorrow. I’m going to have to really start being more selective about my runs now. I can see my acceptance rate dropping drastically, otherwise it won’t be worth my while. I was really worried about declining orders, but it’s good to hear that it doesn’t have a negative impact on your status as a dasher. Love your videos!! Informative and fun! 👍👍
Thank you so much! & that’s insane, gas is definitely on the rise - gotta start cherry picking 🔥
@Lisa Surlie there's close to 4 litres in one gallon. So I'd say approx $6.80/gallon.. if my math is right. Lol.
@Lisa Surlie Canada. Newfoundland
Pretty cute nice energy thanks for videos
Aww thanks Volkan!! (:
hi, I love watching your dashing videos, when you have two orders from the same or different restaurant you're able to see names, both restaurants if you click on your up left side on the main page :)
Thank you so much!! That would’ve been helpful know during that delivery 😂😂
Thanks for the info good luck be safe
Thank you, you too! 💖
I started 3 days ago & made about $194 in 13 total hours through trial and error🤪. Your videos have helped but I am still trying to figure out how to read the app to determine where the order is going when an order comes in. Am I overlooking a detail when I review the order before accepting it? Hope this makes sense:)
So I usually don’t accept orders under $6 but because of DoorDash little time out skit I’ll accept a $4 order maybe once out of every 10 orders so they’ll stay off my back 🙄
Oh god a $4 order, I hatee those but I see what you mean!
No, NOT PROPS to the top dashers. They’re the reason people think they don’t have to tip, and the reason why DD only pays 2.25 to 3 dollars a delivery. Top dashers are part of the PROBLEM.
This helped me alot because im thinking of moving back to vegas.
I was thinking of doing uber eats bike tho
I live in a small town in texas and hate doing dd here
Thanks for watching & I feel like Vegas would be good to do bike deliveries! & small towns are harddd for this type of work that's for sure!
I feel uncomfy.., not even a word!!! 😂😂😂
Hahaha😂
So strange to hear about not tipping. I never even consider it as an option.
Hi Megan, this is a nice video. Also I thought you were popular or have a million subs. Hope everything goes well and have a good day
Awww thanks Cris!! Have a nice day (:
How to fix the problem with two orders. At the same place but won't show the second order until you pick up the first. Go to the top left corner and click on the three little black lines. It will take you to the screen that shows both names in you dash. That way you can give them both names at the same time.
Thank you that's really helpful!

I've been Top Dasher for Years. My Acceptance rate is in the 40's. My other rates stay in the top 90's. Accepting low trips keeps low trips coming your way.
Ayyy top dasher! True that accepting low trips keeps low trips coming!
How are you a top Dasher with an acceptance rate in the 40's?
@@jamesreese4170 We learned years ago that the lower the acceptance rate the higher the tip per trip. Try it. Refuse BS orders and see what comes. Shouldn't take All day to make at least 100.00 within 3 to 4 hours. Been Top Dasher since 2019 in 3 States. As long as the other 3 scores are in the high 90's you are GOOD☺
@@shintikas3722 I agree completely about the AR. But to qualify as a Top Dasher your AR has to be 70% or higher. Your other rates can be 100's and 5.0, but if you are lower than 70% AR you lose top Dasher status. I just lost mine as my acceptance rate was 68% last month. Over thirty is avg for an hour and a half… unless I get good tips… I’m my area, I like to see at least 20 and up for three deliveries that often take an hour… it’s rare to get a dash under two miles… but, the distance isn’t the biggest slow you down factor… waiting for orders and difficulty at drop off, mostly apartments… usually parking is tricky, and locating the apt in the complex is difficult, you gotta punch in a code, often code is not available… you can’t do much about whether the rest has food ready… but you can use dependable restaurants as a barometer… in my area, places like chipotle and chic fil a are on point 99% of the time… and even though u have to order and pay at canes, they are fast… but I almost never take offers under 7 from there and that’s if it’s going to a house and I don’t take apartments for less that 8 unless it’s an easy apartment.
Yess true that waiting usually takes the longest, or waiting on a gate code 😂 thanks for watching!
I also don't accept all orders but I have a 93% acceptance rate. I try to get $1 a mile but you do much better than that. I'm learning when there's a $2.75 to $3.50 rate the customer (generally) isn't adding to that. The customer service reps are in the Philippines & they think $3-$4 is fine. I'm nervous to get my 1099 for taxes as I don't have anything withheld & saving is a challenge. What's your general rule of thumb for acceptance? Hello from the NW suburbs of Chicago where it's freaking cccold!
18‰ acceptance rate, 259 deliveries
Nice that’s a good amount!
I’m at 12% 👍. Watch for those $8.50 (+peak pay) orders they are often higher.
Ooo yes those $8.50 orders are the besttt!!
I've thought about doing this.. just not the distance part
The distance reallyy adds up!
My rate is like 12 percent because I am usually accepting orders that pay at least more than 7 bucks unless they are like 6 bucks for a mile or two.
That’s a good minimum!! Where are you dashing?
@@meganrizzz I dash in New Jersey in Bergen County. There is typically tons of orders that come through so it is easier for me to sift through them and being picky. :)
i’m on phone and watching with headphones on so when 1:38 popped up i literally died omg LOL i thought something happened
Hahah omggg😂
I am top dasher. The way I look at it is you have 30 out of every 100 deliveries to turn down. Understand that you will have to take some bad orders but in my opinion the good out ways the bad. I make on avg $30-$35 a hour. And yes that is including gas and car expenses. I selectively know times, days, and areas to dash in. You have to take all of that into account when dashing and dash smart. I have a 5star customer rating, constant communication from pickup to drop off is a great way to improve.
Wow a 5 star rating you must be one of the best dashers on the streets! That’s awesome 🔥🥳
@@meganrizzz I have been doing doordash for 4years now. Not to toot my own horn 😂 but I am okay. I now dash out of Boise, ID.
Where do you work from thinking about doing this partime in New York city
Las Vegas! Be on the lookout when I go back to Florida I’m going to try & do a ride along there (: & you totally should! It’s easy to get started 🔥
I think I have a 7 or 8% acceptance rate, nearing 4000 deliveries. I'm super picky, but also about to move halfway across the country, so who knows what my new market will bring. Moving from a small city with a population of about 63,000 to a suburb with a population of over 200,000. I think things are gonna get a lot busier!
But I doubt that acceptance rate will change much! 😂
Ayyy that’s exciting moving to a bigger city! & Yesss I’m sure it’ll still stay low but you’ll probably get more orders so that’s good 🔥
Love your videos very entertaining lmao I do doordash on New York
Thank you so much!! Is it fun dashing in NY?
