To everyone saying Saban had a bad first year. Saban came in to low 3 stars and 2 star recruits. Frankly a bad team. Kalen (Shula) aka deboer came into a loaded roster with top 100 talent and to top it off an easier access to the playoffs. I want to know why Milroe the (quarter) back had 15 carries vs a combined 15 carries shared between the(running) backs? If Justice was banged up step in Young. Allow the lineman to be violent with blocks by knowing the backs are going to take the rock. I get it with RPOs but it's confusing not only to the opposition but to the team as well. Thats not alabama football.. No excuse for not running the ball effectively. The passing game opens up through the ground game. Milroes best rushing games were against teams that are not designed or talented enough to stop such predictable attempts. Just stop, The QB distributes the ball even if it's a simple hand off for 3 OR MORE rushing yards to the RB .

I understand losing competitive games when you gave it your all. Every game that we have lost this year resulted in the same fashion. Poor planning, poor preparation & poor performance.

I'll reserve judgement on Coach KD until the end of next season. He deserves the chance to learn the conference, make adjustments with our current roster, and implement his scheme with his recruits. Hopefully, we'll see the team adapt to his style and play consistent winning football. Roll Tide🌊

Give the man a break, it’s his first year with the team. Let him settle in. By next year or the year after I think we will see a very different team. A different quarterback would do wonders I must say. I think Nick Sheridan runs the ball with milroe a lot because I really don’t think he has faith in Milroes throwing ability so he tries to run 80 percent of the time. You become too predictable that way, every team will know what to look for, and Oklahoma did just that. They shut down our running attack and made Milroe throw. That’s why we lost. By the 2nd pick I would’ve thrown Simpson in and try to create a spark. I say it all the time…we have to much talent at receiver not to have a good passing quarterback. Ryan Williams hang in there, don’t transfer we have a bright future in the quarterbacks that are there and that are coming in.
