As a lion spammer meself, the point about lion being vulnerable after using stun is spot on and have learnt it the hard way in lanes. Later, in teamfights too, pulling multiple rounds of stuns is better compared to blindly blinking in, doing stun, hex and dying. Since the range of hex is lower, that's why I guess we see most pros using stuns after blinking instead of hex because it has more range and avoids putting lion out of position
I think that this is wrong regarding his ult. It is a huge gain for the character. Firstly you do not have to get the kill to get the added damage. It has to happen within a few seconds of use. So you can prime a carry to take a kill with it. The purpose of Lion is that he is literally a feeder. You set up your carry in as many ways possible through stuns and damage and mana. But if your carry is a shitbox there isn't much you can do with the character unless you build to trash with magic and get an extra disables through items. Would rate this 5/10 for understanding the character.
I don't remember if they changed it but one of the biggest perks of Dota Plus was that you get an avoid list so you can avoid players. Otherwise it's not really a huge deal. You also get more in game stats and stuff but it's really not all that important.
Dispel is different than the debuff immunity that bkb gives. So dispel is basically removing the spell meaning pressing bkb while a spell is currently affecting you will only purge off the debuffs that are purgeable by a basic dispell. In a way it doesn't really matter because you can't cast bkb while stunned anyway, but applying bkb to someone like Omniknight will not dispell something that requires a strong dispell.
@@Docwell wouldn’t debuff immunity and dispels prevent the same exact status effects then such as silence, hex, root, etc? Are you saying that the only difference is that doing a dispel will simply remove the status effects/debuffs already applied to you and debuff immunity only works for future status effects/debuffs? Sorry if I sound dumb. I really appreciate you replying. I can’t seem to wrap my head around it
@@trippy1v349 Yes, basically dispell removes the spell, the debuff immunity from something like BKB just makes certain debuffs not affect you at all. A good example would be heavens halberd which will still effect you if you pop bkb because it cannot be dispelled. However, once you actually pop bkb the halberd will not affect you if they cast it after the fact. Don't worry though, it is really weird sometimes and you kind of have to just learn what works and what doesn't over time. Especially since they nerffed the BKB from "magic immunity" to "debuff immunity" it's made it even more confusing.

It also has a shorter cool down than hex so you can use it again sooner instead of having the larger gap from using hex and then stun

Omniknight next please
Why does Lions spells say strong dispels only and BKB is basic but somehow basic still works? Am I just a noob and misunderstanding something?
