In today situation that far easier to check top deck and many case got blocked by climax on top that need to get rid of it unlikely we would see brainstorm 2 card anytime soon. So when it seem balance that we got 50 percent chance so it same as pay 2 stock to get them it turn to be pay 1 to get at least 1 card right now. I highly recommend to check card list of Zero no Tsukaima series this is brainstorm master class series where this mechanic is born and whole deck are revolve around this concept have the most brainstorm type ever exist in this game and see how all stuff change form begin to today state.
And mostly used card nowaday for me is Klb/W102-041 white out Kudryavka tap 2 1 stock look up to 4 card choose up to 1 level 1 and above card show to opponent and add to hand. That almost guarantee you will get thing that useful to use unless face with stack of climax. cx combo that show 2 card of deck choose 1 character of each color with gold bar is also very nice.

So me and a friend are thinking about getting into WS just kinda casually, but this video has me concerned. If the newer decks and cards are this much better than they were, is it worth getting into, like Coolio Ash said, if the idea is to pit my favorite franchise vs my friends favorite franchise, what happens when one of us wants to play something old, like fate/stay or the one she's most interested in is the Cardcaptor Sakura set, and I am excited for the upcoming Avatar set. I'm concerned the power creep will make this dynamic somewhat unfun?
No power creep will ever be as bad as POKEMON or YGO! POKEMON is the worst where any deck I have now that's 4+ years old just cannot compete! YGO you can just ban Link and Pendulum from casual and have a good old anime fight.
