  • What happens and what are your rights when you discover toxic mold in your functional medicine practice office (or your house)? This is our story from fall 2018 about what we went through and how you can avoid a similar experience.
There is a free video series going on right now (week of January 28, 2019) with much more information on toxic mold and its effects on our bodies. Watch for FREE: Toxic Mold Summit -functionallawyer.com/mold-summit

I began employment in 2006 as a registered nurse in a nursing home in Fairbanks Alaska where the roof leaked the entire time when it rains or snow melted. Retrospectively, I understand now that my symptoms of insomnia that started in 2010 and grew progressively worse over time and more symptoms came and worsened because of mold toxicity! By October 2021, at the age of 63, I was no longer able to sleep at all but I relied on Jesus for help to sustain me during work! The roof leaked in December 2021 when snow melted for a week. I became extreemly sick with severe night sweats and no fever that lasted a month. But by January 6th I feared that I was going to die if I went to work again! I could mot remember things, and had many problems with excess urination at night with extreem thirst and little urine passing in the day. I developed neurological symptoms of transient paralysis and weakness and incoordination in my legs. The 1st week of January I was able to run down the fall to reach a patient in need faster than my younger coworkers but by the next week, i could barely walk and remain in this condition now. I was refered by a friend to an alternative health clinic where i did get a positive test for mycotoxins. But I was forced into retirement with no workmans comp and the nursing home denied all responsibility that a mold problem existed saying they "always test and there is no problem!" Do you know any legal help for me here in Alaska?

I lived 2 and a half years in an apartment, got sick living there ... sciatica, chronic fatigue, sjrogen, joint pain, urticaria.... I moved to another apartment and within 6 months I got better, very healthy but I am now living again in the first apartment and got sick again... I found out this aparment has mold behind the paint ='( (hidden between paint and concrete wall and ceiling). Note: The woman that was renting before me, got sick also with chronic fatigue and sciatica, I was shocked.
