I love these two, finally a medical professionals who understand and recognize there is significant pain and issues with thoracic area, and not assuming it's the cervical or lumbar!
We love them too! We are so glad that you found our channel!
@@CaringmedicalProlotherapy Does this medical facility do online second opinion on mri and xray review?
I had a rib fractured in military and never saw medical. Now that I'm older, it slips often. I do a lot of thoracic exercises.
Are they helping at all?
Ive had ridiculous pain and pressure in the center of my upper thoracic spine, and chest... like a vice. MRIs still not showing something significant
Same 😔
Have you looked into facet joint syndrome?
This is very helpful. My spine has gone through a lot of trauma this last year. From aching, to chills, to shivers, and temperature swings.
Also, I have a lack of confidence, loss of appetite, and emotional instability. I’ve been trying to find some answers and doctors have not been able to treat me or help me. I look forward to getting some treatment and hope to find some answers at your medical facility.
Hi The Door Church Roswell, Thank you for your kind words and sharing what you've been going through. Our team would be very happy to discuss your case with you in more detail to see if it sounds like we could help you here, and you're always welcome to reach out to us directly to do that. Wishing you all the best in healing and getting answers asap!
I have same problem+ trachycardia nausea..how are you now ??
I'm having that same issues what is prolotheraphy I'm starting physical therapy on 4 January does that help..
I have this problem as well as cervical instability due to a car accident 10 years ago (side whiplash). My ribs and neck constantly pop, just from taking a deep breath! Additionally, I have a lot of dizziness and balance problems related to the neck issue. I had my first prolotherapy treatment with Dr. Marc Johnson (who trained with Dr. Hauser) 3 weeks ago and my ribs are popping much less. I'm hoping that with continued treatments, I will see more improvement. Very thankful for this channel and the work you are doing. It is an invaluable resource!!
Same here side hit t bone on drivers side the balance stuff is horrible
This is me too. Started with car accident. 14 yeqrs ago. I have cervical instability and ribs probs. So thankful for dr hausser's
videos. So hard going through the mainstream medical system to get answers.
I have v eds . Sternum catches and snaps all the time.. if it doesn't snap. It's extremely painful for days til it does.
That's just a little one of the symptoms but relatable. ;).
@@oshunbleu6511 I'm doing so much better after 4 PRP/prolotherapy sessions. I would say I'm about 90 percent recovered. I'm even able to exercise now.
@@ItsmeJenagain that is fantastic!!
I really hope there is some doctors with prolotherapy training near me.
I am happy it worked for you and that your life is getting better all the time ;)
I’ve been dealing with severe thoracic pain for the past five years with intense burning and and muscle spasms regularly on the right side. Two clear spinal MRI results with the Dr pointing in the direction of CBT therapy. Extremely frustrating and in constant pain. What would you guys recommend I do first, see another consultant and look into prolotherapt? I would reach out to you guys however I am in scotland
We always recommend gettin proper testing such as a DMX and ultrasound if possible! These are the best ways to see instability. The thing with instability is that it is degenerative meaning if you don’t do anything about it, it will continue to get worse. We wish you all the best on your journey and if you find that you can travel, we’d love to see you!
There are three therapies you could try
In Scotland. Just takes a google search. Prolotherapy, dry needling and PRP.
If your chronic pain is already high these therapies won’t work. There are two types of inflammation 1. Chronic 2. Acute. The body only sends its healing mechanisms to acute pain but not to chronic pain like arthritis.
These therapies aim to trigger an acute injury response that sends collagen rebuilding and scar tissue to the site of injury. But the scar tissue is inflexible, rigid and weak. It is like glue. You can easily re-injure this area. If you create an acute injury on top of chronic inflammation then it could trigger an inflammation multiplication that sets off the arthritis and exacerbates it. Then the body will not respond and the injury will worsen.
This therapy is great for athletes that notice their injury at a certain threshold but aren’t affected by it in a static state. This therapy would help fortify their body at high outputs in their sport. The key is that at rest these athletes are pain free.
If you live a sedentary life and your ribs are giving you chronic pain you need to find a way to get the pain under control or eliminate it. I got help from medication to get it under control. I have noticed that chronic inflammation and rib instability doesn’t respond to ice or ibuprofen. certain antidepressants target chronic pain and/or gaba regulating medication has helped me. Once the pain is under control you might consider trying these therapies.
The thing is, if you try these therapies before your pain is reduced, it could cause an inflammation cascade where your chronic pain proliferates and multiplies. The body won’t help you heal in this case but actually make the situation worse.
You could try dry needling it’s cheapest. It does the same thing as prolotherapy and prp. Prolotherapy is an injection of sugar water. An irritant. Dry needling acts to irritate the area through a series of micro punctures. Prp is a mixture of an irritant and platelets that are processed from a sample of your blood. There are growth factors in prp that aim to provide additional healing for extra cost. Dry needling is cheapest prp is most expensive. If you notice any improvement with dry needling then maybe prolotherapy or prp could provide an extra benefit, but at least you would know that your body is responding to this concept.
Risks of the procedure are minimal. Whoever you find will likely use an ultrasound to guide the needle into the controverse ligaments and facet joints. There can be nerve damage and increased pain. It depends on how old injuries respond to being triggered. If you get too many of these injections excess collagen/scar tissue can actually make your pain worse.
I sit and wait after my ribs are triggered. Just walking. No lifting no jogging no vibrations tugging and pulling. Once I am pain free I work on stabilizer muscle groups, posture and band work/body weight exercise/ knee pushups. Once I am pain free doing this I gradually increase difficulty. But I won’t ever be lifting weights again.
Same, I've had same exceot 10 years and chronic 24/7. It's awful nagging and disabling pain.
@@CaringmedicalProlotherapythanks for the reply and advice
@@theindustryexpertsorry to hear that. Have you tried the tests recommended above, or prolotherapy? I am going private just now to explore these options
Would you be opposed to testing out a THOREX roller for this pain?
I have pain middle upper back when i twist in either direction. I have tenderness on lower ribs around the side and front. When i push against it it hurts. Would this treatment help?
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this pain! Prolotherapy could be a great treatment option for you as ligaments may be loose - we would love to get you in for diagnostic testing and get a proper diagnosis!
@@CaringmedicalProlotherapy I had improved on the rib but back was still an issue. Just felt like it needed a good crack :) but the other day when I bent over my center console to get something I literally felt my rib give and the pain came back! Did my rib slip?
Relation between T4 ,T5 and rhomboide pain?
Great question - there could be a connection depending on the instability! It could be that there is instability in the T4, T5 and it is causing the rhomboid muscles to be stretched and pulled.
How does Prolotherapy compare to Platelet Rich Plasma injections?
Prolotherapy is a nonsurgical regenerative injection technique that introduces small amounts of an irritant solution to the site of painful and degenerated tendon insertions (entheses), joints, ligaments, and in adjacent joint spaces during several treatment sessions to promote growth of normal cells and tissues. PRP is a type of Prolotherapy that takes your blood, like going for a blood test, and re-introduces the concentrated blood platelets from your blood into areas of chronic joint and spine deterioration. In short, PRP is a type of prolotherapy but just for cases that need that extra push! Hope this helps!
I have trachycardia with upper thoracic pain what can be the issue ...its been 7 8 years i have this pain...an dwhole body get cramping pain also
We are so sorry to hear this, we had a patient a few years ago share his story (sounds similar). ua-cam.com/video/mah5Ly0bJYY/v-deo.htmlsi=DOzwhBWrR4PHMl2O

Thank you so much doctor🌸
What are putting in there ?
I had the same problem with my neck and ribs, I visited chiropractor for 6 months, I spent all my money but my pain still hurt my neck, I'm watching this channel I'm asking the Dr do you have branch in Atlanta Georgia ?
Same problem 😢
Did you figure anything out?
I'm grateful for the videos you guys put out sounds like so many of my health issues the last ten years are from my spine I got kyphosis, horrible forward head posture and also have pelvic problems and lower extremity issues like you mentioned
Im having issues in my 8,9 & 10. Some days hurts all the way around me like a hook. Somedays it just hurts and lingers in the front and some days its in back amd its hard to catch your breath when up moving around. Ive had everything ruled out. Lungs, liver, kidneys, colon, i have no gall bladder or appendix, no female organs. Nothing is left. Why do more doctors not know about this condition? I am in so much pain and no one can seem to help. I feel them pop at the tip when i take a deep breath. I def have the worst pain in 9 but 8 looks sunk in. 10 has pain on palpatation front and back.
Does this all apply to people with Hypermobile Ehler Danlos Syndrome? I have tried a ton of pt for slipping rib syndrome but nothing helps...
Do you have anyone in my area NW Ohio that you would recommend for that type of therapy?
Northeast Ohio recommendations as well!!
Yep. Slipping rib heads under the right arm and at the sternum.
Okay, okay...I challenge you to do a video about a symptom I or my kids DON'T have! 🤣😜
Danielle thank you for your excellent information. Wondering if it would be difficult for you to slow down a little and enunciate more clearly. I really want to hear all your information
What if you have cervical stenosis and arthritis and degenerative disc and thoracic arthritis and degenerative disc and rib cage pain along with pain in the arm and hand??? I’m in so much pain but no one can tell me how to treat my pain other than pills!
Look up Dr Berg for arthritis it may help.
Great information, thank you! Could you put together a video segment of how prolo might be able to help with scoliosis pain and if prolo is beneficial to do during any scoliosis treatments?
I have full spine severe instability and scoliosis and Prolotherapy helped me! Along with Pilates.
Very good video, thanks to both of you. So, are the injections cortisone?
Hi Odins Fire- Thank you for your kind words. Good question. Prolotherapy injections are basically the opposite of cortisone. Cortisone is basically used in hopes of providing short term relief from pain and inflammation, but it has long-term damaging effects on tissue, and part of the reason it cannot be performed more than certain number of times. So, it actually increases joint instability in the long-run. Prolotherapy stimulates the body to repair over the long-term. We have some other videos that discuss it in more detail if you want to do a deeper dive on the topic: ua-cam.com/video/pznSkPz7zyg/v-deo.html Wish you all the best in health!
My back ribs pain and front is killing me😢
So sorry to hear that you are experiencing rib pain Carmen. We would love to help you get a proper diagnosis!
What's the name of that kind of back brace? I have a huge back brace it helps to a certain point. But still in a ton of pain.
I have c5c6 slip disc ..I have breathing issue 😢 heart palpitations and chest havy pain...if have tis prob...have tis all symptoms? Pls reply
What about dynamic stabilizer implants? Are these a possible solution for thorax instability?
Do you guys have any places in Southern California that do these type of treatments I’ve done combat sports half my life and I have slipping rib syndrome and it’s affected my breathing
We do not, our office is located in sunny FL! We’d love to see you :)
Mine gets so bad it was like being stabbed to death..one time it was for 45 min straight it is horrible and I have pretty much constant tazing electrical nerve pain at the t9-t10 herniation level even with pregamblin

Following along until 2:39, what ever did you say there ?????
"...you know unless the rib is completely out of place"
I have slight discomfort in my upper thoracic spine on the right side... I don't think it is slpipping rib syndrome, however, i have constant pain in my chest on the right side and popping. Should i get injections in my spine for this? I have already got prolo in my chest but still have pain...
Hi @joshuaroberts5083 - we cannot diagnose without first doing a consult and exam, however it sounds like it would be beneficial to get things checked out before they get worse. We are accepting new patients and would love to help. You can contact our office directly at 239-308-4773 or email info@caringmedical.com
@@CaringmedicalProlotherapy Thanks for replying! I am actually in minnesota and you guys are in florida right? Should i fly down there? There is a prolotherapy injection place here in Minneapolis that I have went to so I might just go there and have Dr Thorson exam me. Anyway, I appreciate it! ALSO, could something like Lyme Disease mimic the symptoms I am having of costochondritus and thoracic pain? I have Lyme infection for a while now and have a lot of joint pain, so maybe that is the cause?
-Josh
I have instability in my thoracic , I have tried cryopractor and walking on my back that only gave very temporary help . I was considering having somthing hevy like a sand bag put on my back for a long period of time to try to train it . I also have 3 fractures ,ddd ,OA ,stenosis ect .
After coming in for exams and a consult, Dr. Hauser can recommend weights to assist in curve correction. We do not recommend doing anything like that at home by yourself as you could further injury yourself.
@@CaringmedicalProlotherapy thanks , I didn't know that the use of weights to retrain the backs curve was somthing doctors did. My truck got flooded in the last hurricane, I don't think I can make it to you're office on my recumbent bicycle from npr FL 34652
I had chest pains come and go for months. I saw my cardiologist, and they did the works on me. My test were abnormal , so a CT of the heart was done. My CT was normal, but the CT scan picked up Bone Spurs on my thoracic. That explained the chest pains I was having. My pain radiated from my back to the front on my chest. I also have tailbone pain c-5 c-6 bulge disk. With all this going on back in 2013. I had a two level fusion, cervical. So, standing too long, sitting too long. Laying down on my back or on my side my back is always hurting, aching and very uncomfortable. I've just been tolerating my pain. My pcp did suggest trying injection on my back. But I feel like that would be just like a Band-Aid and not a cure. Once you have surgery anywhere on the spine, you're prone to have more in the future. 🙏🙏 for everyone going through back pain
Are you still in pain why not try using a brace@@jacobclark89
