I loved this tutorial, So cute. A number of years ago when I had 3 jobs, I use to work as a decorator at a bakery on Friday nights. The owners knew I was already exhausted from my day job so they always had a Grande Pumpkin Spice Latte waiting for me when I got to their shop. I can just smell the cold air walking across the parking lot and the wonderful warm spice smells as soon as I opened the door. Thank you.
My cousin and BFF, who's an artist, is going through chemo for cancer. She doesn't feel like doing much of anything right now, and I've been sharing your videos with her because I find them SO relaxing. Sometimes I try to follow along on my iPad, and sometimes I just sit and enjoy. This one was one of those - just a warm and cozy time of relaxing and enjoying the talent God gave you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful tutorials!
Thanks you so much for this, Suzy! It truly means so much ❤️ Sending wishes for quick healing + comfort to your cousin throughout this challenging time 💗
I created this and enjoyed the different appraoch you used. It turned out so beautiful and I was so glad. I liked using the watercolor on the pumpkin... gave some good shadows as compared to using the other pens. Love your classes
Love it! Had so much fun and also struggled a bit with the cup. It turned out to big. So I thought: forget the leaves. The way you draw them, it looks like pouring a glass of wine or something. But I stuck with it and had a glorious time ‘cause for the first time my leaves came out quickly and strong. (Thanks to streamline, muhuh). Anyway, I love your tutorials. Could you do something with feathers sometime?
Could you go through your watercolor brushes, what can be done with each brush and how to use each brush? I bought I set of watercolor brushes and I can’t seem to figure them out lol
Teela Cunningham Yes and no, I was just kinda of thinking if you did a doodle in procreate explaining your brushes, people might find it handy to watch as they experiment with. I bought the Everyday Watercolor brushes (i think that’s what the brush pack it called) on creative market and I know the brushes aren’t supposed to act like real watercolor but I find them really difficult to use.
I liked this a lot. super helpful.. although I felt it went too quick for my beginner pace.. but still loved it and with more practice I should get better!
That tutorial was so much fun! I have a question regarding the video export. How come the colours are so off the original. It looks aweful but there are no regulation options.
Since this is a recording of a screen and then edited on a screen and then viewed on different screens (your screen, for example), there are so many variables, it's impossible to match color exactly. We do our best to match color throughout the editing process, but because the settings of your screen may differ from our own and that of another viewer, there will always be inconsistencies.
I love how you break it down and make it doable! My question is about the blend modes...and multiply...it might be a dumb question but how do the blend modes affect when you draw?
Sure - blend modes affect how the color you're drawing with will interact with the colors beneath it. The multiply blend mode makes the color you paint with have a darker interaction - when you scroll through them, you'll see all the differences :)
Hello there. First of all I would like to say that you help me a lot... but now I'm having problems to open the water color brushes set that I purchased from you on my library... It is not showing at all......what do I need to do?
Thanks for the tutorials! When I try to do the first watercolor layer of the cup. I can’t make my watercolor one even tone. My lines are a darker layer than my internal part of the cup. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?😬😭
Did you make the outline first and then the internal part? In that case try to not take your stylus from the iPad. So draw the outline, keep your stylus glued to the service and fill the outline in. It takes a little practice. Maybe first try this with a smaller object. I had some trouble with the cup this time as well, but after a few try’s you should be alright.
Just had a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte last week, never again will I get one. It was so sweet it was gross. How people like those is beyond me. Great tutorial tho!
i love your style drawing

Hey! Is there any one in particular I can help with?

If you ever want to slow me down, just hit the little gear icon in the lower right and change the 'playback' setting (I'll sound drunk, but slower!)
This was so fun to draw! Thank you for your tutorials! I love them all! ❤️
Thanks so much!
Thanks for this video. I really like these kind of videos. Helps me To learn new techniques on procreate. Thanks.

We make our own at home! Much better when you can control all that sugar :)
