What's your opinion on artistic phases? Should you stop yourself from drawing similar things and push yourself to draw something different or continue what you are currently enjoying? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions!
I reckon it's always a good idea to branch out! I used to ONLY paint with acrylics, and so I decided to try oils put and that's all I use now. probably time to branch out again 😅😅
If your really interested in trying something else but enjoying what you are doing at the moment, maybe you could slow push yourself out. For example :a small room with a hole in the middle where a waterfall falls through. But that's just a thought, I hope this helps (ur amazing just thought I should let you know ♡)
Not only isometric rooms seem to be your comfort zone but also I noticed you tend to add a lot of details to add interest to these drawings, maybe to balance the fact you didn't find an original concept. This method is very time-consuming and you'll burn out if you keep being so hard on yourself. Maybe go outside to find inspiration when you sketch ideas?
YASSSS! I love your isometric rooms! I would defos buy a book of your prompt pieces! 5 books with 100 prompts in them? (I'm so impatient I want to read all of the stories that go along with them now!!!) 😂😂😂
My kids loved Shel Silverstene. (name spelling?) I think a book of rooms or a collection of storms with a short, short store poems would make a fantastic children's book. The kids could create the characters in their own heads, maybe even draw them on an opposing, blank page.
When it comes to artistic phases, I think that you should embrace what you are interested in drawing at the time. For me, I know that a new phase will come rather quickly, so I don't stress to much on drawing the same thing over and over. If one phase seems to last longer than what I expected, I'll put a bunch of different twists on it to add some challenge and variety. BTW Kasey, there's nothing wrong with your isometric houses. They are actually one of my favorite paintings that you do! This one is no exception!
Ok kasey when I saw the thumbnail I thought it was a boardgame... then I thought that would be such a cool idea to see!! Please like this so kasey can see it! So if theres a good prompt for it she could consider it
I honestly love these room drawings, I think they’re really interesting to look at with all the small details you add into them. they look really cool with your art style and i love it!
i honestly love the rooms youve been doing. I think its great to do the kind of art you acctuailly want to do and challenge youreself when you get sick of something!
I adore this! It reminded me of certain seek and find books from the 90’s. I could stare at these rooms for hours. They really get my imaginative gears turning!
Why did Van Gogh become a painter?? He didn’t have an ear for music… Did you hear about the artist who died?? Too many strokes :( Where does a cow hang his paintings?? In a moooooooseum :) I’m weird don’t blame me 😏
Many others have already said it, but I feel obliged to mention that I love your isometric rooms. SO. Much. Of course I love everything you create, but the rooms were The Thing that drew me deeper into your channel hehe. You make them always seem so real and life-like, in a way like someone's actually living in the space. Love it.
What I love about your art is the variety. I would love to see a book from you that combined loads of different things, where every page turn was something different: - one page is a funky isometric room, and you give a little blurb telling us about it (like this vid!) - another page is a short story decorated with cool animal drawings around the borders - another double page is like a Where's Wally/Waldo of ants, where we have to find certain characters on the page - another page is just cool illustrations I think you could combine a lot of things into a diverse, interactive book that kids (and adults!) would love.
Sometimes it’s hard to believe I’ve watched 116 of these prompt videos, have had a 300 prompt book since before you started them, and have yet to touch it, you rock all of these
yes to the book!!!!! as a lover of shel silverstein and your work, that sounds absolutely amazing. i would be so ecstatic to see you finally pursuing your book dreams!!!!! this idea makes me so hype i love it
Kasey, I LOVE your isometric rooms! It’s like a dollhouse. But, if you feel like you’re stifling yourself you could always do half as many as you draw now. Love you! I’m sure you’ll figure it out
Casey I love it when you do your rooms, they are so cool. I think that what ever idea you go with for your book will be awesome,I loved your inktober story too,so anyway I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Shel Silverstein is one of my biggest poetic and artistic inspirations! I think you'd do people like him proud and your creations are always so silly and sweet. I would definitely purchase a book like that by you!
I quite like artists being inspired and enjoying the phase that they are in. While yes at the time you may not feel like you are pushing yourself, you are building a collection of similar pieces and little do you realize, you may actually be pushing yourself to do different thing with each and every room (or ant, or whatever the 'flavor of the month' is)
I don't care about you making so manny isometric rooms, I actually love them because you can see all the joy you have while making them. I prefer the videos you make while you actually make what you love more than what you are told to.
I imagine that each room is from a different apartment in the same apartment building and it shows the diversity of people that live right next to each other
I get excited every time you talk about books. I’d buy any book you made, including the isometric rooms. I LOVE them. (And hell yeah, Shel Silverstein!)
A book of isometric rooms that have ant rooms underneath (like your office isometric room) with stories of what someone doing something above and the ant’s reactions below would be 100% AMAZING and I would love every single page!!!
I know it's a bit late but i just wanted to say that your isometric rooms help inspire me to try to get to designing some of the indoor locations for my comic. It was something that probably needs to get done anyway but watching you do these inspired me to try and have fun with the design.
I personally love the isometric rooms! I love how detailed they are, and I honestly think it’s ok to draw a few of them in a row every once in a while. Not EVERY prompt is going to be an isometric room, and hey, this 500 drawing prompts is about making art right? And that’s what you’re doing! Making art! Isometric room or not, it’s your art and you shouldn’t feel bad for drawing rooms. You can draw whatever you want!
Man your isometric rooms are looking amazing, I think you should continue to do more if that’s what you want to do, if you want to push yourself then you totally should!! Anyways I love your art :)
Ahhh I loved Shel Silverstein!!! Thank you for reminding me! I had a lovely teacher (Mrs Powell? you were great, I hope your doing well) in first school/primary read ‘when the sidewalk ends’ to the class a lot and we’d look at the pictures, and its still one of my favourite memories. I think you should go for it! your work is really witty and well suited to the format and it’s a bit less pressure because you can do a bunch and compile your favourites, rather than agonising over one story.
Hi Kasey! I think it makes more sense if you think of the rooms as if they were from four different apartments in a building since they don't communicate with each other. I really liked this prompt, I love your isometric rooms :)
I really enjoy the isometric rooms. There is ton of creativity that can be put into just ONE room! There are endless amounts of things and materials that can be in a room. Now, I do believe you should think of an array of items and themes when you do a room so it doesn't come out as a just slightly different room that looks plain or "normal".
Love you and your art so much. I really love the isometric rooms, however I think you should space out the amount of isometric rooms in the 500 prompt challenge.
Keep up the isometric rooms. I like the top view look inside the rooms. Walmart came to South Korea but no one shopped there either so they left too. I don't know why it doesn't work for some. I'm excited for this prompt. It's right up my alley.
It might be cute to have a kid showing off all the rooms in their hypothetical house and its them jumping around in a bunch of isometric rooms that dont really make sense together. I think that would be adorable
I wanted to say I think you do a great job with the prompt drawings and I did go on a bit answering your pinned question, Just Keep Drawing is the short answer! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful as Mr Lawrence Welk was known for saying! Or is that Wunnerful?
Dude i love isometric rooms, they seem so fun to draw, look so good, and i think it IS creative, I mean, u have to fill them! 💜 just draw what u like and have fun doing and it'll look good bc u did it having fun, at least I think that way!! U don't need to do something no ones ever seen 24/7 ya know?
I'm almost hyperventilating over here. Please please please release a book oh please!!! I adore each and every one of your artworks! You inspired me to take up drawing again after about, omg, maybe 15-20 year break?! I love looking at your artwork so much as although they are "simple" style, somehow you manage to cram so much detail in there and looking at each and every part is like reading a story! And if you wrote a little short story for each artwork, oh be still by beating heart 😍❤😍
Kasey Golden I don’t think so
As long as you like doing it
I think you don't need to push anything, just do what you love.
btw, i love your art
Hi :) my names Kasey aswell! 😱 nah jk it’s Anah
If your really interested in trying something else but enjoying what you are doing at the moment, maybe you could slow push yourself out. For example :a small room with a hole in the middle where a waterfall falls through. But that's just a thought, I hope this helps (ur amazing just thought I should let you know ♡)
Ohh noooo! Don't ban the isometric rooms! You do them so well ,they're so COOOOL!!!!!
PopCross Studios Art if kasey doesn’t keep it I’ll keep *H E R* in an isometric room filled with purple stuff

She shouldn’t ban them, but maybe just draw them less.
PopCross Studios Art I agree it’s not like many people on UA-cam make isometric rooms and heard really cool

Don't ban the isometric rooms! It makes you kind of work your background skills and it's good for you I guess!
I like to imagine that all the rooms are part of a house where four very different siblings or roommates live together :)
Those are New York rooms.. pretty small and a crazy messy neighbor. Cool work ❤️
Target room: stress free kid
To
Gaming room: depressed teen
To
Poster room: stressed young adult moving in
To
That plant room: single adult
Not only isometric rooms seem to be your comfort zone but also I noticed you tend to add a lot of details to add interest to these drawings, maybe to balance the fact you didn't find an original concept. I live for these isometric rooms pls don't ever stop I love them
YASSSS! I love your isometric rooms! I would defos buy a book of your prompt pieces! 5 books with 100 prompts in them? (I'm so impatient I want to read all of the stories that go along with them now!!!) 😂😂😂
TBH... this might be my current goal! Haha.
My kids loved Shel Silverstene. (name spelling?) I think a book of rooms or a collection of storms with a short, short store poems would make a fantastic children's book. The kids could create the characters in their own heads, maybe even draw them on an opposing, blank page.
Are you KIDDING!? I absolutely love your rooms
I literally love the isometric rooms so much! Don't ban them, maybe just give yourself an "every five prompts rule" or something similar
When it comes to artistic phases, I think that you should embrace what you are interested in drawing at the time. For me, I know that a new phase will come rather quickly, so I don't stress to much on drawing the same thing over and over. The rooms you draw are so cool! I wish I could draw them lol you are such a great artist! 😁
PLEASE KEEP DOING ISOMETRIC ROOMS!!! THEY'RE SO PRETTY AND DIFFERENT I LOVE THEM idk I just really like when people draw rooms full of details
i really really like your isometric stuff!! i cant figure any of it out without an isometric grid and you seem to ace it perfectly.
I honestly love these room drawings, I think they’re really interesting to look at with all the small details you add into them. they look really cool with your art style and i love it!
i honestly love the rooms youve been doing. I think its great to do the kind of art you acctuailly want to do and challenge youreself when you get sick of something!
Omg I just gotta say that I love the Zeus picture too! also I love the isometric rooms, but it is good to not do the same thing all the time
Lol there are chips spilt on the floor and no one cares about them and there are candles in a tree! FIRE HAZARD!
I adore this! It reminded me of certain seek and find books from the 90’s. I could stare at these rooms for hours. They really get my imaginative gears turning!
Why did Van Gogh become a painter??
He didn’t have an ear for music…
Did you hear about the artist who died??
Too many strokes :(
Where does a cow hang his paintings??
In a moooooooseum :)
I’m weird don’t blame me 😏
116?! Wow I just...just can’t believe it....
Annie Vo I started watching these at 30😂
@@Chloe-yn4jc here since 15 I think LOL
Very beautiful, I like the feeling of painting with ease.
I love the isometric rooms they’re so cool to look at, and I think the book idea with the rooms and a little story with them is also very cool
Many others have already said it, but I feel obliged to mention that I love your isometric rooms. SO. Much. At first I thought it said “LOCAL ARTISTS BANGS HER ART”
I was like. Woah there
That ain’t cool
Sometimes it’s hard to believe I’ve watched 116 of these prompt videos, have had a 300 prompt book since before you started them, and have yet to touch it, you rock all of these
I love the mini master sword in the left bottom room!! Please continue with the rooms, too, we all love them!!
I really like the rooms you make! Your really creative with them and you pack so much detail and colour into each room, it's really interesting
I recently subscribed to your channel. Honestly your isometric drawings are beautiful. Don't stop doing them!
I love watching these Prompt videos 😍 it’s satisfying to watch you paint
yes to the book!!!!! as a lover of shel silverstein and your work, that sounds absolutely amazing. i would be so ecstatic to see you finally pursuing your book dreams!!!!! this idea makes me so hype i love it
The Giving Tree and Where The Sidewalk Ends were my favorite Shel Silverstein books!! Love your isometric room drawings!!
Kasey, I LOVE your isometric rooms! It’s like a dollhouse. But, if you feel like you’re stifling yourself you could always do half as many as you draw now. Love you! I’m sure you’ll figure it out
I love the isometric rooms that you create! It inspires me to make some of my own
Casey I love it when you do your rooms, they are so cool.
I think that what ever idea you go with for your book will be awesome,I loved your inktober story too,so anyway I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
I love your isometric rooms! I enjoy seeing actually nice and constructed living spaces

Hey kasey don’t feel pressured to always make a story. In my opinion an isometric room is just as creative as a character design!
I'm just one person, but if you made a book with your isometric rooms, I'd be an instant customer.
They're my fav
I love your isometric rooms, amazes me how many thing you think of to fill them up
Kasey’s Brain: How many isometric rooms do you want to draw in the 500 drawing prompts?
Kasey: Yes.
i love the isometric rooms! you draw them so well! but do whatever you feel is best, we all love ya
Justly love that I’ve had my kitten Bean for a month now and the comeback of the rhymes has Beans involved
No! Please don't ban the isometric rooms! They're so darn CUUUUTE!!! In fact I just got inspired to do the same thing for a contest.
I love these little isometric rooms. They make me think of little dollhouses or dioramas. Very cute.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! Your art always inspires me!!!
I know it's a bit late but i just wanted to say that your isometric rooms help inspire me to try to get to designing some of the indoor locations for my comic. It was something that probably needs to get done anyway but watching you do these inspired me to try and have fun with the design.

You've seriosly inspired me to get a ruler and practice perspective with rooms similiar to yours!! Artistic phases are natural
I am absolutely obsessed with these isometric rooms!
Ahhh I loved Shel Silverstein!!! Thank you for reminding me! I imagined a bunch of kids going to target, buying snacks, and then snuggling them into the theater haha
Here we go with the ant cover again 😂😂😂
Love ya Kasey!😘😘😘😘💜💜💜💜
Nonononononono!!!!! plEASE continue to do isometric rooms!!! They’re my favorite and I love the amount of detail that goes into them!!!
I chose to do isometric room for my art class because that’s all I’ve been thinking about because I love the way yours turn out!💕
would love a tutorial from you on isometric drawings, you're the only artist I could find that draws them traditionally!
This is so cuteee,, love the isometric rooms
just do a small adventure of a ant book, where it needs to get food or something in one of your room drawings ":)
You are so imaginative I could of never thought of something cool like u do
i love the isometric rooms!!!! please continue doing them❣
Yaaaas Shel Silverstein! I used to recite "Warning" to my kids when they were small and were CONSTANTLY putting fingers in noses.
Hi Kasey! I think it makes more sense if you think of the rooms as if they were from four different apartments in a building since they don't communicate with each other. I really liked this prompt, I love your isometric rooms :)
Why is this amazing video not on the trending page or on Netflix yet!,!,!,!!!,!, so underrated smh
I love the isometric rooms!
A book of these would be amazing & a book of finding ants would be so fun!
Oh I also love these rooms! 😭😭 But you do you. Your art style is really unique.
I really enjoy the isometric rooms. There is ton of creativity that can be put into just ONE room! There are endless amounts of things and materials that can be in a room. Your symmetrical rooms are soooo fun and creative it hurts 💕
Love you and your art so much. I really love the isometric rooms, however I think you should space out the amount of isometric rooms in the 500 prompt challenge.
I really like the rooms! I don’t think there’s a problem with doing them often 😊 you put a lot of effort into them!
I love your rooms and your ants. Don’t stop drawing them!
I love the isometric rooms!! They’re so neat!
Hey kasey! I like the idea of having different rooms, it’s super cute!
I really enjoy isometric rooms ! Always wondered if you use reference photos of furniture or maybe even room decor for an illustration like this ?
Love your room pictures...I would love to see more of them. Plus I hope one day I try one too
you should make a giant peice that has all of your isometric rooms combined into one house with several rooms and floors
Do what you enjoy Kasey, I just hope you're doing okay and not overworking yourself
Keep up the isometric rooms. I like the top view look inside the rooms. Walmart came to South Korea but no one shopped there either so they left too. I don't know why it doesn't work for some. I'm excited for this prompt. It's right up my alley.
I love it! Such a cool concept thats made even better by your talent. Also, I miss target in Canada too rip
I think that isometric rooms actually expand your creativity because from my experience, thinking of things to fill up the rooms is difficult!
While I do love your isometric drawings, I'm totally okay with you stepping away from it for a while. Push yourself in whatever direction you want!
It might be cute to have a kid showing off all the rooms in their hypothetical house and its them jumping around in a bunch of isometric rooms that dont really make sense together. I think that would be adorable
I love your isometric rooms they inspire me to do backgrounds more 🤗
I wanted to say I think you do a great job with the prompt drawings and I did go on a bit answering your pinned question, Just Keep Drawing is the short answer!
I personally love your isometrics❤️ also I love Shel Silverstein’s Giving Tree!!
