Hard rock titans collide for THE END machine, a brand-new project that features classic-era DOKKEN members George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, and Mick Brown as well as current WARRANT singer Robert Mason. The band will be releasing their self-titled debut on March 22nd via Frontiers Music SRL.
Surely, some fans may be wondering to themselves, isn’t this just Dokken without Don Dokken? “Musically, of course there's bound to be moments that will be reminiscent of Dokken. That's only logical,” says bassist Jeff Pilson. “But, my guess is there will be less of that than people would expect. Some people who've heard it say they think it's closer to Lynch Mob than Dokken, but really it is pretty much it’s own thing. We allowed ourselves to get a little deeper than either of those projects really have, while still staying extremely melodic and not being afraid of good old-fashioned guitar rock. Maybe Lynch Mob, a bit of Dokken, but then some 70's guitar rock added in. George [Lynch] is playing fantastic on this…very inspired. Everyone is really, but George covers some new territory here and it's very cool. Plus, the songs as compositions took on their own life, especially adding Robert [Mason] to the writing. That's what I'm most proud of, is the way this stands on its own. It doesn't step on our legacy together one bit, but it has it’s own personality and I think that's important.”
“This is decidedly not me ‘stapled’ onto a DOKKEN record,” adds Mason. “I wouldn't have been involved if that was the intent. Fans will hear bits of our styles in this collection of songs, and while reminiscent signatures are undeniable, THE END machine was purposely built to stand apart and on it’s own merit.”

robert mason is a MASSIVELY UNDERRATED singer, and he sounds just as good in 2018 as he did in 1992. not super crazy about this song, but ill definitely be paying close attention to this record

Wild Mick did do some great work on this album. I've played a lot of Dokken and Lynch Mob. Mick definitely has his Mickism standard beats and fills, but he pleasantly surprised me on this album.

I had the pleasure of meeting Wild Mic when he was in Pa with Ted Nugent. I got to hang with Mic and party at the bus after the show. We had so much in common it was crazy. What a great time we had! Thanx to my bud Greg Smith for an awesome night with the band! Hey Mic the band sounds amazing bro!

Absolutely incredible music, now this is good chit. Finally something new with some heavy to it.
This singer is as good as Don ever was and better than he is now by leaps and bounds. Don didn't take care of his voice and has an attitude to boot. Just my opinion. This is the band that should have been years ago.

'Dream Until Tomorrow' is a song by Lynch Mob, second record, the bass player is Anthony Esposito, not Jeff Pilson. Anyway great new track of 3/4 of Dokken!!!

Hey this is pretty good. I'll give the rest a listen. I love Lynch and Pilson and this singer sounds MUCH better than Don these days (and i like Don, dont get me wrong)
This singer is better than Don now, but I'll take Don from tooth and nail, under lock and key and Back for the Attack any day over any singer Lynch has ever had and plus Don's vocal melodies are so damn good

Robert Mason's voice has never meshed with Lynch's guitar sound.
I actually think it sounds sorta like 90's dokken some, but not as good as Dokken or Lynch Mob, but it's just one song I'm sure there's better ones coming
love the mob both oni and robert. dont think this has any resemblance to lynch mob 92. unlike it dont get me wrong just thought it would be more of a mob record. someone above said it sounds a lot like pillion's war and peace. still enjoyable, looking forward to the cd
i must re-evaluate!!! after a few listens it does sound very much like our lynch mob, with a tweet in the production. sound like less layering on the recordings. which is fine. its more raw sounding!!

This is awesome, I'm so excited for this record. Mason's and Pilson's vocals work so well together, Pilson's basslines complement George's guitar work. I really like the melodic darkness that they do together.

First listen: Ok, maybe not 'a return to hair metal' (as some promised me, haha) but solid hard rock nonetheless, with phenomenal vocals by Mason and clearly well-balanced & superior production quality. Definitely interested in this album now, thank you!
If you know anything off Pilson's 'War and Peace" records, you'll know this sounds exactly like that. This has his stamp all over it. Same feel, same vocal melodies, same harmonies. This also sounds a lot like the T&N record. So they're not really breaking any new ground here. Still a lot better than that crap George did with Michael Sweet.

I was beginning to think that I was the only one that didn't like the Sweet Lynch stuff. I really don't like Michael Sweet's voice. I've liked just about everything else Lynch has ever put out (the rap-rock version of Lynch Mob was a bit much though, lol).
