I just had an idea for a dance choreography. So all the dancers (maybe like 5-6 idk as long as its more than 4) are wearing white masks except for this one girl who starts in the middle wearing a red mask. Now originally you would think she is the one that feels as if she is being targeted (hence the you know red mask) But probably during the chorus one of the female dancers wearing a white mask is pushed out of the crowed and is 'punched' causing her mask to fall off so her face is the only one you can see. This is because she's the one that actually feels like she's being targeted by the girl with the red mask and that she is the innocent one (hence the white mask that blends in with everybody else). And they dance together but the dance looks more like a fight, showing how the girl whose face you can see feels like there's tension and rivalry between the two. Afterwards they separate and that girl whose face can be seen dances in the middle by herself. Whilst her mask is off that dance moves are more sporadic and not exactly on tempo her movements and facial features growing more and more frantic. This is supposed to represent how she is slowly learning that she is the person who is hurting herself and even though she tries to blend in with the crowd her movements stand out way too much. However, at one point she probably steals her mask back and her movements are back to being smooth and just like everybody else's. Showing how she is not willing to admit that she is the one that's being paranoid and hurting herself. This continues until the rest of the dancers stand in a circle around her and a random white masked dancer walks up to her and steals the mask off her face, a face which she quickly covers with her hands. In the final moments of the song when that dancer removes her hands she will be all by herself on the stage and when she looks around she'll drop to her feet crying because she realised that the reason for her sleepless nights and endless paranoia is herself.

I have social anxiety, and totally connect with the lyrics. I was bullied all throughout school, and when I became an adult, my anxiety got worse and worse, always expecting someone to say something about me, like the "hearing whispers when we're just talking". I basically internalized all the negativity I experienced, that I became my own bully or "assassin". So even though no one treats me like they did back in school, I still feel extremely vulnerable and I hold myself back with my own thoughts and fears.
