Rewatching this with the context of parts 1-4 now. Some present questions: 1) How do you plan to light up the Entrance Hall further? With only 2 lights, it's quite possible that it could be a bit dark. 2) If you want another courtyard scene idea, and/or a reason to invest in better statues, you could do the Deathly Hallows scene where McGonagall animates/awakens them. Admittedly, though, it might clash a little with the Yule Ball setting that's currently rocking the Great Hall, so that might be an idea for a potential future builder interested in making another version of Hogwarts - especially since the Yule setting would look better overall if it would be a one or the other pick of scenes. 3) How often do you get told that you're talented and awesome? Because this is seriously impressive!
1) I was planning on just the torches because I imagine it to be a dimly lit place but I can always put a few strip lights overhead if I change my mind 2) I'd considered that but was afraid they'd clash with Mr filch hanging the decrees lol 3) Thank you for your kind words
@@maddiesworldofbricks Yeah, I was thinking Filch himself would be rather dimly lit. Not sure if the torch light would reach him. As you said, I suppose that's something you'll consider/test. :p Welp, cheerio chap!
Oh gosh lol. I don't know for certain but I'd guess 40-50 thousand between the entrance hall and great hall. It's higher than you'd expect because of the window design being part intensive.
looking incredible! those lights really make it pop, wow!
Thanks!
Your build looks amazing! And so do your nails!!
Thanks!

Looks great so far, shame we won’t see the great hall with the tables and the feast
Thanks. Lots of people have done that scene though. I wanted mine to be different
@@maddiesworldofbricks Great decision, I like this better. We've all seen the great hall in action, I like what you did here

Amazing !!!!!!
Thank you. I post updates every weekend
Query:
Do you plan to keep the Great Hall permanently Yule themed? If not, how would you plan to switch out scenes?
It will be permanently yule themed
@@maddiesworldofbricks Ah, neat.
This is great! How many bricks have you used in this project so far?

@@maddiesworldofbricks It’s really impressive! I really like when the buildings are in minifig scale. And it’s really beautiful as well.
Cool moc
Thanks
How far do you intend to build the landscape around and especially below Hogwarts? (The mountain the castle stands on would be massive in this scale.)
I dont know at this point yet. I know what I'd like to do lol but we shall see
