It's easy to read filipino words. You just have to read it as it spelled, no slang for vowels, and consonants are never silent. But some words can have different meaning depending on were the stress is placed. For example mama'halin means "expensive" and mamahalin' can be "to/will love". I think you did great at reading the title.

The Tagalog language has only 5 vowel sounds.. *copy pasting* a - like the u in up and cut (in the majority of English dialects) e - like the e in end and bed i - like the i in machine and marine o -like the o in old and sold u - like the u in rude and oo in moon I think that contributes greatly to our singers since so many Tagalog words are "open" when sang. :)
