- In week four of our Christmas in London series, Sinead takes you on a tour of London's best Christmas Lights for the 2022 season! You will see the Leicester Square Christmas Market and decorations, stroll down Regent Street and see the stunning Christmas angels before exploring the Rock n' Roll decorations on London's Carnaby Street. You'll then see the world famous Oxford Street Christmas Lights and peak in at the incredible 2022 Christmas window displays at Selfridges!
Enjoy a walk down Bond Street to see the Platinum Jubilee Christmas Lights as well as checking out the decorated windows of some of London's most iconic shops like Cartier, Ralph Lauren and Fenwick's. You'll then take a small stop to hear the Christmas bells chime at the legendary Fortnum & Mason as the clock strikes the hour. Next, you'll be literally overcome by the blue lights on South Molton Street and get a glimpse of Christmas at Claridge's before finishing in the touching Christmas Remembrance in Grosvenor Square.

I am American and I even admit that London is so much better than New York. London also does Christmas better since it has all the Christmas markets. New York only has Rockefeller Center with the tree and the ice skating rink. But London, there is so much more Christmasy things to see and do. I am so excited to travel from Florida to England again in March 2023. I’ll be there during the week of St Patrick’s Day and I hope to see the festivities at Trafalgar Square. I am so excited!!!!

Always love London's Christmas decorations, Sinead. I imagine that they look much better in person than on the two-dimensional screen in my house. My next visit (in two years) will be during London's Christmas season so that I can see this lovely decor in person. One tip: the store Loewe is from Spain, founded by Enrique Loewe. It is pronounced like Lu-a'-vay (soft "v"). Knowing how particular you are about pronouncing things correctly (me, too), I thought you'd want to know. Best wishes for a happy and healthy Christmas season. Keep 'em coming in 2023!

I thought my fav street was the Queen's crowns but i have to say, the street towards the end with all blue lights is my favorite! I would love to walk down that street at night surrounded by those lights! Though I think it's tied with the garden of remembrance. That is lovely.

Thank you for taking us on this tour the Christmas lightings look amazing!! When would be a better time to see the lightings with preferably a smaller crowd: the Friday before Christmas weekend, Christmas Eve or on Christmas?
Christmas is definitely the quietest but there's no public transport so logistics can be tricky!
This rivals what you see in New York, Boston or elsewhere here in the states.

@@Sineadlondontourguide As a kid I would go down to Boston and see the Enchanted Village and the Christmas Tree donated the City of Halifax, Nova Scotia. There are places and areas in Boston and New York, esp. my employers, flagship store on Herald Square. But London has a senory overload. Thanks for showing the world.
