There wouId be allot of agreement that saving faith having necessary fruit with reformed believers. think there might be some forms of dispensational and positional views on the extreme that hold ot fruit and works as merely a rewards issue, but in the main reformed theology would say saving faith has necessary fruit. God loves you as you are but will not leave you as you are. Fruit includes mercy and justice and walking with God humbly.

The end game of BLT is not the Atonement but overthrowing a white super power, by replacing it with a black super power.

I should have to say this but I am black. I listened to this with an open mind but the first 12 minutes made me cringe. I would have like the speakers to give their definition of revelation i think that would have revealed where the panel is coming from. The speaker with the glasses is off, he clearly has presuppositions that come out a different system than the Biblical worldview. The moment I hear a person categorized scripture first as being a "white" concept emergency bells ring in my heart. The bible first and then History shows us clearly every heresy begins and ends with putting the Bible on the back burner. I am all for black people being engaged in theology every Christian should be a theologian but I am not for heresy masked in black face and social justice being brought into the church. I'm surprised to see someone from H.B Chales Jr church is into BLT, I will have to look into that some more. Liberation Theology has its origin in Romanist priest coming from a Marxist worldview in south America, now you have Black LT, Islamic LT that wasn't addressed in this talk.

You don't want social justice brought into the church? Then you will have to remove Amos, Habakkuk, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Micah, and let's not forget Luke 4. I would submit that the brand of American evangelicalism that has turned a blind eye throughout history to slavery, Jim Crow, systemic racism, police brutality, redlining, urban renewal, etc., is heresy masked in whiteface.

You cringed over the first 12 minutes and you completely checked out after that, is not the echo chamber that you're used to that's not being open minded, I'm 62 and I have never heard of an institution labeled white what ever, but white is what you get rather it's education, justice, or religion remember the miss black beauty contest, why did it exist, there was never a miss white beauty contest, but there was a time when black women were no where near it,guess they didn't fit the standards of beauty established by well you know who,but they don't have to label their institutions white they are what they are and that's white

The great thing about Biblical theology, with its Hebrew, Greek and Romans beginnings, is that it addresses and speaks to the experience of everyone. “Black Liberation Theology “ will not by definition work in China, Syria or India. Biblical Theology does.

Black theology is biblical theology, it is the gospel of Jesus viewed through the lenses of the oppress

Oppression is sin. In Judges there was much oppression but part of a larger picture of deliverance which is only begun . There are cycles of sin, oppression, crying, adeliveranse sinking ever deeper and oppression a part but not all mor mostly. Of course a secular person cannot just take a dead tree and nail some fruit on it and hope lotta fruit grows, Paul says to the COlossians that "your fruitfulness gows back to the day you understood the grace of God in truth" and fruitfulness comes from being on the vine who is Jesus.

We do see God at the right hand of the poor ending Psalm 109 where Jesus is oppressed by the anti friend Judas and then appears at the right hand of God in Psalm 110 made like Melchizadek. The poor man in Psalms almost always refers to Jesus. True wealth is not necessarily the wealth and treasure of the American dream of prosperity. True freedom is not necessarily the personal automoy and freedom of the American dream of freedom either. The book of Proverbs ways the wisdom of the knowlege of the holy will allow you to understand justice.

I have strong reservations about calling God "she" as most of the teachers at union do. I disagree with Cone's rejectin of infalibility. The word Palestine comes from Philistine and was an insult by ROmans to Jews and I would avoid using it after all the Bible doesn't use Palestine ever, not even once. I also would like to have heard who to reject the eccentricisties of Marxism
