Great review man, you summed up the point of this car "Fun!!" I've owned a 2007 version of this car for 5 years now, originally intended to keep for maybe 2yrs as we have 2 young kids and this is our only car, but it's truly a car you fall in love with and i can't think of anything that could replace it without spending a hell of a lot more money ! If anyone is considering one go ahead and do it and just budget 10k for running costs for 2-3 yrs and you'll not be disappointed.
You are right, you make a brutal symphony with this car and share the emotion of driving this car so good. Can you get some GLE 63 and try it. I wondering can this car make fun like s class coupe 63, like CL 63, like AMG GT or no chance to play this symphony’s with GLE 63. Thank you for doing this I really enjoy to watch you driving.
I love my 08 CL550 so I know that 63 is an African lion. And mine doesn’t give me any problems btw. Owned it for 2 years now with 116k on the dash but I stay on top of my routine maintenance also
@@oresthrachov1458 Exactly! ABC is a great system, car doesn’t even need/have swaybars, because the hydraulic system does everything instead, but they go bad after 150-200k kilometers if the fluid hasn’t been flushed and replaced regularly, and the repair is costly, sadly 🥲

sounds like it, maybe mufflers removed? It's the same engine as the other 63's in that era but because of its weight they tuned it to about 520 bhp compared to 450bhp on the c63. I've had my 2008 CL63 for about 6 years and the longer I have it the more I want to keep it. It's at a stage now that its not falling in value so if I account for £200 a month depreciation on an average used car or £300 a month lease hire for a basic car then I'm happy to set aside £2.5k a year from the money that I've saved.. Touch wood no major repairs to date so I'm 15k up so if I end up having a £5k major repair bill tomorrow , it would still be worth my while to repair and keep.

Great content, keep up the good work! However, please do note that the ABC is a hydraulic system, not a pneumatic air suspension :)

65 is more refined and luxurious. 6.2 is the way to go
65 is way more powerful tho… not just ‘elegant’. It’s crazily powerful.

There is one that was already facelifted with a Biturbo engine. Get a later model 6.2l those are the best
