Thanks for the review! Love the build btw. 1. Stock length was dictated by common printer sizes, so overall the whole thing is slightly compressed to chibi sizes. If I revisit a full length musket I might bite the dart and make a longer split version. 2. The danger with the ramrod was a bigger concern initially, but worth noting it's such a long projectile it tends to just "flop" out if you let it loose - the biggest danger is definitely to the person loading rather than anyone around you, but as you point out that mostly is solved by not priming it while looking down the barrel :P
Thank you for the response! I might play with a way to extend the stock my self just to make my personal build a little more comfortable for me. Good to know about the ram rod. I couldn't bring my self to test fire it just in case I destroyed the blaster.
Love Carny. Have had every single print file in my cart for I want to say feels like 2 years. Whenever he FIRST made em. I don't even have a printer, but if/when I get one, this will be the reason.
@@WincentP Now you can buy assembled or DIY kit of this musket. There is also Hanke musket. I think, it's a clone, but improved (metal barrel) and it's made by the mold.
@@PraiseToTheLordGodAlmighty It's driving me nuts. I spent like 3 hours figuring out why my color correction didn't export. but I'm glad the video is still getting views!
It mostly depends on your prints. I haven't had any problems outside of the original stock design having a week wrist connection. If you're worried add some extra walls and avoid any bonnet charges.
@@HOUNDsArmory Im thinking of bringing back that mode for my club Single shot blasters are required. Both teams face each other in straight lines a good distance apart. Starting with one team, going down the line, each player takes one shot at the other team. If a player is hit in the arm or leg, they can not use it for the rest of the game, for any purpose. If a player loses both their arms, they can not fire. If a player loses both their legs, they must move on their knees. A player shot in the torso is out for the game. After one team has made their shots, they advance one step forward, and the next teams goes. The team that eliminates the opposition is the winner.

As the founding fathers intended
I just finished printing this all out in silver I am waiting for the o-rings to come in and then will build it.
It's a lot of fun! so glad to hear you are building one!
Where did you get the musket from
That's so cool 😎
About how many kg of filament is needed to make one of these?
How sturdy are the Carny Rex?

It’s so much fun!!
Where can I buy it?!?!
I'm sorry if I sound a little nerdy, but you put the tip of the ramrod (the part with the yellow) in the barrel first.
Hi sorry for the late response. that tip of the ramrod is too thick to hit down the brass barrel so you use the other end.
@@HOUNDsArmory Oh alright, thanks for letting me know :)
How much are your coms to build one ?
Shoot me an email and I'll do the math on a quote.
i want to buy the files and make it longer, and add loud snaps to it for when i fire
