I am American born, my parents are from a small country in South America called Guyana, which has slave from north India brought there by British govt. I guess thru the slavery my parents country has lost almost all the traditional wisdom from Bharat. I know French people back in the days dealt with slaves and British colonizers were dealing with 'indentured labourers' like, they were told about richness they will get (lie), and they brought them to colonize several countries. I'm from Mauritius, my 5th great grand-parents came from India as well, but they were brought in as labourers (or they call it indentured labourers).

Wow wow wow!!! I am in tears 😭 I am here in South Africa, my forefathers being indentured labourers who came here over 160 years to work on the plantations. Our culural, religious and spiritual heritage has been greatly deteriorated. I became a Hanuman bhakt 12 years ago while going through a period of severe health problems. I've gained a lot of knowledge over the years about Hanumanji and his journey, and He has helped me and blessed me in so many ways. However, I never felt a deep connection towards Ramji because I didnt have access to any body of work such as Yashodeep sir's that is truly brilliant and so enlightening in the way he presents it. I've been eagerly following this series and many thanks to you Ranveer for re-introducing the world to our wonderful Sanatana Dharma. When my kids are older, I am definitely getting them to watch this, and sharing already with all my family and friends ❤ Jai Shree Ram 🙏 Jai Shree Hanuman 🚩

Though born a Hindu, I had no knowledge of Sanatan dharma since I studied in a Christian boarding school. Plus my folks never imparted such knowledge, except for the occasional Ramayana and Mahabharata episodes i got to watch during holidays... Today, I've read and watched many spiritual podcasts and I am in awe and LOVE with it. A little guilty for not having known its magnitude and wisdom for this long. We are no doubt a very peaceful community. We see God in rivers, stones, animals,and humans. Hinduism is a way of life-it is science. There is so much beauty and mystery here. We live in a country of Naga Sadhus, Aghori's , Gurus... Feel so blessed to have been born in India. Peace be upon all. God bless!

I am a teen in America of POI and I grew up hearing stories of the Ramayan and the Mahabharat. These stories had really changed me in many ways and had gave me a new perspective on everything. I had always been waiting for a acurate, unfiltered version of these epics and now I am finally able to listen to the actual story of my Ista Devata Thanks to Yashodeep Deodar sir and Ranveer sir!

He never said He was God, even though He was an avatar of Vishnu. People think the corpse on the cross will have a second coming. Why can't they believe that One God keeps reincarnating when there is injustice and adharma in the world? Hanuman was a great athlete? This great athlete flew across the oceans and vanquished thousands is an athlete? Like, who, Hussain Bolt?🤪 Don't confuse Lord Rama with the coward who ran and hid when Romans were looking for him. People venerate this coward as a God when he was anything but that. He never had even 0000000000000000000.1% of the qualities of Lord Rama or any of the Sanathana heroes. Valmiki Ramayan is authentic and has such details that no one can imagine it was written thousands of years ago before the two desert viruses swamped the world. Our Ithihasas has never changed ,unlike the 22 odd versions of the Testament.

Jay Shree Ram! I’m 17 years old and just wanted to thank Ranveer for this amazing series. The way Sir narrates the story is incredible-his words paint such vivid pictures. I'm a 55 y.o. Malaysian Hindu Punjabi that does not understand Hindi. It was English through and through growing up in the 70s onwards. I cld never relate to both the Ramayana and the Mahabarath because of language - many travelling gurus back them only had talks in Hindi. I drifted from religion alltogether. But these 4 episodes were incredible - not only could I understand more of the Ramayan, but the way it was shared truly pulled me into the story. I was close to tears at so many parts. An amazing experience...I wish we could know more about the technologies of that time...'The Pushpak Viman'...I am sure it may have been powered without fossil fuels...The Books of Uttar Ramayan will be also quite interesting as these are about 'Luv & Kush' the sons of Shri Ram & Maa Sita and what happens after they return to Ayodhya...the turmoils of their family life surrounding agony and separation which similarly even today haunts many families around the world. I believe before Mahabharata, this chapter in Shri Ram's life must be addressed...an honest appeal to you Ranveer. Honestly blown away with this 4 episode purest form of ramayan and i think this changes the perspect a lot. The perspect of ram ji's greatness and the perspect of history for us. Great thanks to Yashodeep sir for his amazing narrating skills. He gave us the very essence of ramayan and i feel every sanatani should be aware of this pure version of ramayan for the sake of relevence because only if we know the exact details of our history will we be able to preserve its essence within us and spread it in the world. Because sanatan is a way of living, and only through these epics we know the greatness in character we are taught to be by our history.❤

Although I'm of the opinion that the stories of our Lords should not be decoupled with the aspects of Bhakti, I can definitely appreciate and celebrate the production and passion that this work of Yashodeep ji is. To put the exaggerations (i.e. Shri Ram parting the sea) into perspective, there are gods living among us this very moment and yet we see them as humans (or we don't even know of them entirely). Essentially, they can definitely produce miracles, but keep themselves generally within the constraints of being a human.
I had watched all 4 parts and it's like Wao wao I can't believe how can someone retail a story of ramayan like that hat's off to you yashodeep sir you're the best human feel like valmiki ji own telling....

I just finished this wonderful 4 part series, it is absolutely beautiful, thank you for making this available for all us English speaking people. I have followed through with all the series of the Untold secrets of Ramayan and have truly loved every bit. However, when Valmiki himself has denoted supernatural powers such as invisibility, growth in stature, mystical weapons and Hanuman's travel to Himalayas, I felt it was not fair to call it an "exaggeration ". If Valmiki wanted to exaggerate events, he would have written the story otherwise with Ram being a one man army defeating Ravan. I believe there should be scope for allowing magic to run the the stories because there was such magic. If Mahabharatha, which happened centuries after Ramayan had scope for magic, mysticism and whatnot, then a time period before that had creatures, sources of tantric mysticism and magic that should not be denied.

I respect the effort, but this interpretation seems highly misleading. Hanumanji was an avatara of Lord Shiva, as clearly mentioned in Shiva Purana (Satarudra Samhita, Section 3, Chapter 20). He was born with divine abilities and perfected them through yogic sadhana. Shiva Purana, authored by Veda Vyasa, holds scriptural authority equivalent to Valmiki's Ramayana. What concerns me is that the speaker appears to misinterpret slokas and present a purely humanistic view (many times he mentioned "could be" which shows he himself is still not sure) while dismissing the divine aspects. It's important to remember that these are not merely "Itihasas" (historical accounts) but also scriptures that narrate divine Lilas. I strongly encourage everyone to read the scriptures themselves rather than relying on such deluded explanations and misinterpretations. Seeking knowledge directly from the source offers far more clarity and wisdom.

Though born a Hindu, I had no knowledge of Sanatan dharma since I studied in a Christian boarding school. Plus my folks never imparted such knowledge, except for the occasional Ramayana and Mahabharata episodes i got to watch during holidays... Today, I've read and watched many spiritual podcasts and I am in awe and LOVE with it. A little guilty for not having known its magnitude and wisdom for this long. We are no doubt a very peaceful community. We see God in rivers, stones, animals,and humans. Hinduism is a way of life-it is science. There is so much beauty and mystery here. We live in a country of Naga Sadhus, Aghori's , Gurus... Feel so blessed to have been born in India. Peace be upon all. God bless!

I am a teen in America of POI and I grew up hearing stories of the Ramayan and the Mahabharat. These stories had really changed me in many ways and had gave me a new perspective on everything. Valmiki Ramayan is authentic and has such details that no one can imagine it was written thousands of years ago before the two desert viruses swamped the world. Our Ithihasas has never changed ,unlike the 22 odd versions of the Testament.

Bro, you were spot on! You covered the heart of the questions from the audience, and Yashodeep Sir answered them exceptionally well. The entire perspective on Sanatan has now been beautifully clarified.
I'm a 55 y.o. Malaysian Hindu Punjabi that does not understand Hindi. It was English through and through growing up in the 70s onwards.
I cld never relate to both the Ramayana and the Mahabarath because of language - many travelling gurus back them only had talks in Hindi. I drifted from religion alltogether. But these 4 episodes were incredible - not only could I understand more of the Ramayan, but the way it was shared truly pulled me into the story. I was close to tears at so many parts.
It's as though a new world of understanding and reverence to Lord Ram has just opened up for me now. Better late than never.

An amazing experience...I wish we could know more about the technologies of that time...'The Pushpak Viman'...I am sure it may have been powered without fossil fuels...The Books of Uttar Ramayan will be also quite interesting as these are about 'Luv & Kush' the sons of Shri Ram & Maa Sita and what happens after they return to Ayodhya...the turmoils of their family life surrounding agony and separation which similarly even today haunts many families around the world. I believe before Mahabharata, this chapter in Shri Ram's life must be addressed...an honest appeal to you Ranveer. Although I'm of the opinion that the stories of our Lords should not be decoupled with the aspects of Bhakti, I can definitely appreciate and celebrate the production and passion that this work of Yashodeep ji is. To put the exaggerations (i.e. Shri Ram parting the sea) into perspective, there are gods living among us this very moment and yet we see them as humans (or we don't even know of them entirely). Essentially, they can definitely produce miracles, but keep themselves generally within the constraints of being a human.
I had watched all 4 parts and it's like Wao wao I can't believe how can someone retail a story of ramayan like that hat's off to you yashodeep sir you're the best human feel like valmiki ji own telling....

I have followed through with all the series of the Untold secrets of Ramayan and have truly loved every bit. However, when Valmiki himself has denoted supernatural powers such as invisibility, growth in stature, mystical weapons and Hanuman's travel to Himalayas, I felt it was not fair to call it an "exaggeration ". If Valmiki wanted to exaggerate events, he would have written the story otherwise with Ram being a one man army defeating Ravan. I believe there should be scope for allowing magic to run the the stories because there was such magic. If Mahabharatha, which happened centuries after Ramayan had scope for magic, mysticism and whatnot, then a time period before that had creatures, sources of tantric mysticism and magic that should not be denied.

I respect the effort, but this interpretation seems highly misleading. Hanumanji was an avatara of Lord Shiva, as clearly mentioned in Shiva Purana (Satarudra Samhita, Section 3, Chapter 20). He was born with divine abilities and perfected them through yogic sadhana. Shiva Purana, authored by Veda Vyasa, holds scriptural authority equivalent to Valmiki's Ramayana.
What concerns me is that the speaker appears to misinterpret slokas and present a purely humanistic view (many times he mentioned "could be" which shows he himself is still not sure) while dismissing the divine aspects. It's important to remember that these are not merely "Itihasas" (historical accounts) but also scriptures that narrate divine Lilas.
I strongly encourage everyone to read the scriptures themselves rather than relying on such deluded explanations and misinterpretations. Seeking knowledge directly from the source offers far more clarity and wisdom.
