Perfect is the story of Ed Sheeran and his fiancée Cherry. They were schoolmates and best friends for years until he went off to become a famous musician. He had a couple serious relationships, but after he split up with the last woman he found himself with time off so he went home and reconnected with Cherry and if you listen to the beginning he says "I didn't know you were the one waiting for me..." They are engaged to be married and he seems like he adores her. She isn't a Hollywood type. she looks like the girl next door. The song is really just the sweetest gift from him to her.
My husband and I met & began dating, almost 25 yrs ago. Our first "Our song" was by Bryan Adams..."Everything I Do"...I even walked down the aisle to the instrumental version. We came upon this song by surfing UA-cam. Matt became very sick late September last year. Pneumonia, which caused a collapsed lung. By the time he was transported down to Knoxville to UT Medical Center he was non- responsive & his body temp dipped down to 87... his O2 was in the low 50s w/o oxygen. They worked with him over a few days, sedated and in a vent. Four days after he was admitted, while in the CVICU, he had a massive heart attack... the "widowmaker" and he survived. (If you're thinking of having one, I highly suggest having it in the Cardio Vascular ICU!) We are UA-cam fans and were delighted to find the hospital gave us access through our room tv... so we surfed and came across this song. It was..."perfect" and became our new "our song". Matt finally came home in mid January (complete with a pacemaker/defibrillator). He's still struggling with walking... and bouts of Congestive Heart Failure. But... he's here & fighting. I love him so much! I prayed that God would send me a good man and boy did He! Then I prayed that God would spare him...25 years isn't enough. I am so thankful God found me worthy of not only meeting him, but I got to keep him! #MyPrecious lol Thx for playing this Ty... it meant a lot to us! Cindy & Matt
Cyn Hatmaker - I cried reading this. I went through the same thing so I feel strongly for you. The recovery from this takes a while and in some cases a couple to three years. A word of advice, when his strength is back don’t become complacent, he needs to rebuild his heart and lungs so they don’t fail on him years later with good food and good exercises and good breathing exercises (Tony Robins has a good one called the 1, 4, 2, method) to strengthen those muscles. And most importantly, never stop praying and thanking God for the blessings you have because blessings counted multiple. God bless you and Matt.

It’s said he has one of the most beautiful voices out there. Andrea Bocelli is an amazing story in himself. He's completely blind and has been since the age of 12 after a soccer game accident. Before he was born, his parents were advised by doctors to abort him because of predicted disabilities at birth, specifically, his eyes. Imagine the hole we would have in our world is that had happened. He and Sarah Brightman do an awesome rendition of "Time to Say Goodbye", but my favorite by far of him is "Nessun Dorma". I recommend you listen to Andrea Bocelli's CD "Romanza". It has great music and duets on it and holds a prominent place in my music library. Believe it or not I had never heard Ed Sheeran until I started watching UA-cam clips from some of the South Korean, Chinese, and Thai dramas I was following and many of the clips use this song. I absolutely love this song and I think Ed Sheeran sings it in such a warm and tender way it can't help but bring a smile to your face. I love this song because it is just so pure. It is about his girlfriend of the time, (now fiancee or wife) Cherry Seaborn. The first time I heard it was listening to the Divide album. It is now on my playlist. You should definitely listen to the original as the lyrics are amazing. His brother, a classical composer, helped with the arrangement.

One of my all time favorite videos. Videod in Andeas Villa in Tuscani, Italy Ed is in absolute awe with one of Opera's greatests Tenors. His home, his beautuful family. Ed had to learn Italian before Andreas agreed to do this duet with him and the result? Wowza. Just started watching a few of your reaction videos and really appreciate the respect you give to the song. Love to watch how you react to the video and lyrics.The truly special part is when Andrea starts singing his part, his wife can now understand the words and looks like he's singing directly to her.

Andrea Bocelli is an amazing story in himself. He's completely blind and has been since the age of 12 after a soccer game accident. Before he was born, his parents were advised by doctors to abort him because of predicted disabilities at birth, specifically, his eyes. Imagine the hole we would have in our world is that had happened.
He and Sarah Brightman do an awesome rendition of "Time to Say Goodbye", but my favorite by far of him is "Nessun Dorma". It really shows off his vocal talents.

I recommend you listen to Andrea Bocelli's CD "Romanza". It has great music and duets on it and holds a prominent place in my music library. Believe it or not I had never heard Ed Sheeran until I started watching UA-cam clips from some of the South Korean, Chinese, and Thai dramas I was following and many of the clips use this song. I absolutely love this song and I think Ed Sheeran sings it in such a warm and tender way it can't help but bring a smile to your face. It is for anyone who has ever been in love and cherished that love. Thank you for reviewing this clip.

I love this song because it is just so pure. It is about his girlfriend of the time, (now fiancee or wife) Cherry Seaborn. The first time I heard it was listening to the Divide album. It is now on my playlist. You should definitely listen to the original as the lyrics are amazing. His brother, a classical composer, helped with the arrangement.

You need to listen to Supermarket Flowers by Ed. PLEASE! I shared my story with you. He wrote this song for his mother after she lost her mother. Get a tissue.

Andrea Bocelli is a blind opera singer...he was discovered singing in front of a cafe in Italy and the rest is history. Andrea Bocelli’s story is an amazing one. I’d recommend watching his background. If I recall correctly, his parents were advised to abort him since they knew he was going to have issues. And obviously they didn’t and he is blind but what a blessing his voice is! Amazing musician.
