I definitely get the struggle of getting items you want, so happy for Wardell's catalogue service because not only can you order any item you unlock in HHP, but you can choose the variation/colour you want too and it's been such a godsend blessing for me lol
My only wish for the Wardell catalogue is that we would be able to have a search feature like we do for Nook Shopping

I’ve been obsessing over terraforming lately, I spent a week reforming half of my island just because I enjoyed the satisfaction of terraforming it all, and it’s really helped bring the theming of my island together finally 👍
started playing animal crossing again for the first time since lockdown era of the pandemic. I forgot everything I knew and I restarted my island--these videos are so fun and helpful
Sunken pathways is something I have been experiencing with on my island, thank you Ani and Lex for the inspiration.
As someone who is getting into Animal Crossing now, this has helped me sooo much! Had a large area I had no idea what to do with and my saving grace was right here! ^^ THANK YOU! :D

Totally agree with the issue with item acquisition! I recently restarted my island because I was getting motivated to do anything more with my current island so thought maybe a now layout of the river ends and resident services can give me a new challenge 🤷🏼♀️ but I hate now I have no items and diy recipes 😩. Silver lining I am playing more again because I am working to collect stuff and get bells to buy everything again lol
This is what’s putting me off. I really want a complete new layout and also wouldn’t mind the starter tasks, it’s just losing my catalogue and DIYs I don’t want 😞 tempted to even buy a switch lite just to get around this 😂

I did it!! And I LOVE IT!! Mine definitely has its own take on this. I incorporated my bridge that was the original entrance to my campsite and I added a second path that leads to my neighborhood!!!

I also love chopping down trees and destroying mountains. I also get satisfaction digging up a bunch of overgrown flowers and throwing them in the trash. Great stress relief!!!

I immediately went and tried something similar to this after I saw the original build when you mentioned it on your stream with uhhhhhhhhh mixed results 😂 as soon as I saw the notification for this vid pop up while I was at work I was like “oh thank heavens, a tutorial, gotta watch that the moment I get home”! (And I’m glad I did, it was super helpful and lovely!)
Love this build! Ive been helping my kids with their islands and doing terraforming for them now that my island is done. Its been fun to spend time with them and bond over animal crossing. Excited to try this!

To me, sunken paths and other terraforming feats really shape an island. I recently restarted my island and unlocked terraforming so this was great! Tysm

I haven't visited my island in months... but this was inspiring enough for me to go take a look :3 also, I take my sweet time as well while I build things XD
ive started building this on my island, i've been at it for like three days cos bells ugh. but you mentioned how intimidating terraforming is when you first start doing it and i think thats why its taking me so long to build this! its such a big task cos i simply haven't done enough of it! this whole sunken pathway and everything you did around it looks so so good though i loved watching you work on it!

Once you pick them up, if you hover over them in your inventory you can “investigate”!! I think it’s always been like that but honestly idk

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who didn't realize 'investigate' was an action and not just telling you to go and ask around 😂
I've had a double-sided waterfall path on my island since 2020 and I've been trying to think of ways to make it better ever since. It would be so easy to turn it into a sunken path! Thank youuu

I always love watching your builds when I work or if I need ideas. But I 20000% agree, I wish we had the hhp catalog when designing our islands and houses. Much like you, it's left me wanting to do more complex terraforming, vs decorating

the building everything in one sitting is definitely one of my bad acnh habits, i spend the whole day in bed and just build cliffs- but wow, this build is amazing and the hours of hard work were worth it! i love the natural aesthetic!!

Item collection is always the worst when you start a new island! And building up your DIYs too! Luckily I have two Switches so I ferry items from my main island when I make a new one. But its soo tedious!

About the 2 rows at a time terraforming... omg I have ALWAYS terraformed like that, building and demolishing!! It's definitely efficient. Another great way is to go in one row, then you can do the same move 3 rows at a time!
