Hell yeah man you should listen to deadmau5 more, he makes his stuff a lot more open to non edm people. Like martin garrix is edm too but his stuff is too "pop" like... Very repetitive melodies and all that

It's official. It's a shame Daft Punk themselves don't particularly enjoy deadmau5's music (or EDM in general), judging by one of their recent interviews.

KendylTV deadmau5 doesnt like edm either, and i personally find deadmau5 a genius even comparing to daft punk, i listened to both their discography and while others may say that the mau5s music is repetitive, its the subtle diferences that make the difference
Pedro Vieira As long as that repetition can be used in that song's favor, it helps lay out the song. deadmau5 is influenced by Daft Punk, but I feel like he's really come into his own since he started out. I wish they'd kiss and make up, they're both terrific musicians.
