    Let’s be honest. We all live and operate within a free market. If someone REALLY wants those shoes, they’ll do the work to get them early, or they’ll pay what they have to on the secondary market. Not being able to tie your shoes doesn’t mean you can’t operate a computer, and if they can’t operate a computer, they’re disabled enough to have someone to put their shoes on for them.

    Thanks for mentioning this issue cause it needs to be known. I got my hand severely injured 2 years ago so it's difficult to tie my shoes. It's embarrassing and sucks to ask people to help tie your shoes especially if your a grown adult. I was waiting for these to come out and yeah basically can't get a pair unless I pay $450+ that's messed up. Nike supposedly was gonna release more April 30th, never happened.
    So it's a problem with Nike and these resellers both need to get their act together.

    There's no such thing as supply chain issues when it comes to Nike. They can make a trillion of these if they wanted to. They have the facilities to do it. Look at how abundant the Air Force 1s are. The reason it's rare has nothing to do with supply chain, but rather to give their products a more exclusive feel.

    • @16soccerball

      On what basis could you sue? You can't force a shoe company to make a certain type of shoe for you. Nike doesn't even end up making any extra money on these limited runs and their markups, as it is these resellers that are gouging customers (and only then because they have willing participants who will pay these asking prices). This is why I think Nike should put more out; they are leaving money on the table for scalpers to take.

    • @DeadAir21
      @DeadAir21 3 роки тому

      @@paulwright6044 it’s not always that simple. People have always complained that they couldn’t get the sneakers they wanted. Then in 2018 Nike mass produced most of their retros and most of them sat on shelves for months and people complained that they didn’t feel special because everyone had them. There’s no amount of pairs Nike can produce to meet demand because it would just bring more bots and resellers into the market.

And that’s likely due to their medical conditions! Hey you who bought up a ton of these new “orthotic” shoes how about you donate them (you can handle that at tax time next year) 😉

    I wanted a pair for my mother who has trouble bending over and picking things up. Hes totally right. Resellers deserve an L for this one

    Nike should keep a stock that’s prescription only. So people with disabilities can easily access them. Sell them like usual in Stores and online buy hold some back that require a doctors note or something. It’s like someone buying up all the heart medication and reselling it at a premium

  • @ChaceBonanno

    Wow those look fire I want a pair but Nike and hypebeasts ruined it. Make them affordable for everyone and I’m sure everyone would have a pair.

    They rather get money from scalpers I guess.
    Nike should over produce to cover costs and lower chances of scalpers being able to sell for a stupid premium

    All it takes. It’s Nike website two pair limit per customer. Algorithm reads your address your email address your credit card that you use your name just to make sure the two pair rule applies the only way you get more if you’re actually work for a hospital or a high school or college

      The self lacing ones also still take more effort to wear than these too. You still need to pull the self lacing ones over your feet.

      There is still a problem of putting your feet into the shoes, but in the FlyEase its like a slipper so you don't have to waste time putting them on (which takes the most of the time)

    Pretty gross nike.
