The remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl will bring several inches of rain to parts of the United States this week. Additionally, extreme heat and humidity will build across the United States, and this heat wave may spawn a few rounds of significant severe weather by the middle of the month. Happy Tuesday, July 9th everyone! The remnants of Beryl will bring widespread, heavy rainfall to parts of the Ohio Valley, Great Lakes, and Northeast this week. Additionally, a major heat wave will break tons of records across the West!

The eye of Beryl went over us last night in Hot Springs.We came out good.But surrounding areas got the wind and rain .

Just heavy rain potential for the Chicago area.
Heading out to Colorado on Friday and staying that night in the dead center of the ridge, in Grand Junction. That follows an 8 day heatwave on the east coast. Simply can’t make this up. This was booked months in advance and I’m at the wrong place at the wrong time.

No problem! Thanks for watching. Beryl is no longer a tropical storm. It's a post-tropical cyclone which means it no longer has any tropical characteristics.

Hunter it is hot, hot, hot in the NW my kids are sure hot in seattle & Olympia. They so glad they finally had Ac put both of Their homes! 102 in C Oregon! Deer, Jack rabbits, hares, & quail eating at night. Birds are still out & about. Fire danger is high! Would love some of that rain. Is it suppose to get cooler in a few days? Thanks!

After Beryl and considering how many "firsts" she established, to think that there are people who still deny climate change absolutely astounds me.(In the 1980's when I lived in New Iberia, LA, I found a book about changing weather in the local library, It was published in the 1930s and I'm seeing what it predicted happening today.)
