- Snippets of this song were played in Danny Phantom's "Fanning the Flames" episode, which aired in 2004. Since the day it aired, all that was released was a stripped down mix from both Nickelodeon and Butch Hartman. The track was horribly degraded. Vocals and instruments had little to no reverb and was as if the music was playing in a glass box. Fans have desperately awaited the true version of this song for almost ten years. Still to this day, little is known about the production of this song. It saddens me that this was locked away from the public for this long. Subtle things are present that were missing in the "Butch-ered" mix. Everything is so crystal clear. Just wish we found the track sooner.

"Remember Facts" (from Robbyn Kirmssé) - I cut the song with Guy at his home studio, just the two of us. He's a really nice guy (he writes 85% of the lyrics)! I only did the vocals...Guy creates the tracks...He's a genius. Cartoon music requires sophisticated and exceptional talent...and Guy is the man! I don't know that the version on the cartoon was ever completed. There was only a little of the song used. The version I did was completed though. The "Remember" song reminded me of a 50's/ 80's/ Go-Go's song. It was a total kick to sing. Intimate and powerful at the same time. I am so happy that people feel a connection and are fond of it! I have informed Butch and Guy of the enthusiasm around it and hope that they will release it formally... Thanks for your interest and support! Robbyn Kirmssé.

Back in high school when Ember was alive, she wasn't very popular, but always dreamed of being a rockstar. One day, a handsome popular boy asked her on a movie date, but he didn't show up. She just stood outside the theater all night waiting for him in vain. When she finally went home at the break of dawn, she collapsed on her bed and didn't wake up when her house mysteriously caught on fire. She perished when it burnt down and she remanifested in the ghost zone as the deepest darkest representation of her lifelong dream, which is basically the living embodiment of music and vengeance. She was transformed into Ember McClain, the ghost master of the element of harmony with hair made up of the very thing that took her away from the mortal world. This song is the representation of it all because it not only tells the story of her her downfall, but also represents how she gets her power from screaming fans. She doesn't wanna be forgotten like she was on that unfortunate night...or that fateful day
Aw Man😥Sometimes I forget how grim this show is, but everything Ember is is honestly the textbook definition of heartwrenching
I think one of Danny phantom’s problems was that the villains really weren’t given backstory’s to how they died and became ghosts . I think dark Danny is the ultimate villain of the show but it would have been cool to learn the backstory’s of the other villains and why the are bad . Just my opinion, let me know what you think .

Totally agree. Dark Danny is not even Danny, he's just the ghostly side of Danny's DNA made sentient and corrupted and that's a pretty heavy catalyst for a plot twist. Anyway, Butch Hartman may have been one hell of a storyteller (at one point), but he didn't give a lot of TLC to his characters, which I find totally unacceptable in his all-time masterpiece
Robbyn Kirmssé here: Just glanced at the above comments I made -- not sure I said all of what's written there but there's an inaccurate statement....Butch Hartman penned most, if not all of the lyrics to "Remember" 😇 I believe he writes all lyrics and Guy' occasionally tweaks them here and there.

The reason this track was never released is because Nickelodeon owns the track and the rights to it. I did learn that Butch Hartman is also trying to bring Danny Phantom back. Robbyn Kirmssé has been giving me some inside info on this stuff. :D

This is my favorite music video so far! I saw the episode with Ember on tv earlier today and I had forgotten how many different scenes she was in. The only thing that would make this better, would be if you removed the MMD part and 0:48 when she says "a losing game" if you could fit a video clip where it doesn't look like she is shouting, it'd be a lot better. Thanks! To be honest, this may be the last music video I do of Remember. I must have done 10 by now haha It's hard to make clips sync with the song. I'm happy with it, but it could always be better ;D What I'd kill to do is make it like a green screen and have her cropped out while she's still moving. That would take an eternity for how many shots there are though. The 3D portions, I don't know why I put them in there. I think there's only two compared to before. Ran out of clips to use XD (wanted it to be 99% Fanning the Flames since that was the episode the song was in) As for the video itself, I'm still waiting for the day when someone outdoes me lol I know someone can rub this video in the dirt. All I've seen lately are just lyric videos. Really would kill to see higher productive edits.

***** The DVD. Bought a DVD ripper a while back. Sucks because you used to be able to screen record them but then Apple upgraded their OS to protect the DVDs when screen recording (grays out the video player). Quality is very close to the DVD though with the ripper.

She waited all night for him to show up, saying, "He's just running late." When morning came and he didn't show up, Ember went home. She was so exhausted that she fell asleep and didn't wake up when her house mysteriously caught fire. She died in the flames, which possibly gave her the name "Ember". Which of the creators was this? Well, I'd say it was probably an electrical fire - she comes home exhausted, tries to focus on her dream of being a rock star again, starts to get back to practicing, but she's so exhausted she plugs her guitar in wrong, creating a short circuit and a subsequent fire.
Umm the ghost in Danny Phantom weren't "real" (dead) ghost they were just monsters from another dimension(e.g. The Ghost Zone), no dying required for any of them.

WorthlessToaster I do feel bad. In her previous life, she was practically a ghost to everyone. Never getting noticed, ignored by everyone she passed by, possibly was ignored by her parents at home and then getting stood up by her date, who probably pretended he didn't 'remember' asking her nor ever knowing her name (Hence the inspiration for the name of the song and meaning behind it.) It also being her power and weakness, the more people know and say her. The more power she gains and stronger she becomes. But when people stop acknowledging her and saying her name, she loses her power and becomes weak. All she ever wanted was for someone to see her for who she truly was and to live her lifelong dream of becoming a rock star to gain the attention she never received in her past life. Geez, had I known her in her previous life. I would have asked her to be my friend and give her the friendly attention she so much craved. I used to watch Randy’s comedy sketches when I was little (more specifically 2011). I stopped watching when he made his last video and start creating EGS because it wasn’t interesting to me. But when I tried to look for his videos after I REMEMBER him in 2019. But all I found was this account and the Shooting. And when I saw that, I was in shock that a childhood UA-camr would do something like that and how nobody saw the warning signs!
He was a troubled young guy. I think a lot of young people can empathize, even if they don't want to or can't look past the memes.

It's such a haunting song (despite her being a ghost), and one that lingers in your memory and makes you feels sad. Some of the ones from Meatloaf, Evanescence, Seether, and lot of Irish folk songs have that lingering sad quality to them. 'The Garden Valley' by De Dannan is one of my favorites that has that bittersweet quality to it.

I love when shows do stuff like this. Instead of the main character(s) just running in and beating the snot out of the supposed bad guys it really gave alot of depth to why they do what they do and who they were as people before they died. Even in death there is always a reason to everything.

I always took the song as a guy was interested in her and it took a while for her to take a chance and trust him, maybe due to nerves or shyness? Elfman Strauss I think they held off on releasing it because of the dark story behind the lyrics. It STILL isn't technically released because the singer Robbyn Kirmssé only posted it on her website as part of her portfolio/resumé. Until everyone started re-posting it on UA-cam, her site was the ONLY place that the song was on. Sad thing is, someone did a Wayback Machine test or something and told me the track was there since 2010. Robyn's name isn't even listed on the end credits of the Fanning the Flames episode, so we had no idea who the singer was. Wiki pages and sites had her listed as Robin Kimissel, but it turned out to be Robbyn Kirmssé. SmileForTheGhost started messing around with the name on Google and stumbled upon a Chalkzone wiki or something which had her name listed, because recorded something for the show. That led to him finding her website where the track was. Butch Hartman ignored every tweet except one that I sent to him asking why there's no high quality version of the song. All he said was, "Sadly, not yet. But things may change :) " That was back in August 2013 and it still isn't released lol But hey, thanks to Robbyn, we have the track regardless, and for FREE :D
