Good to hear. Tonight I launch LEARN KONNAKOL 4 in my webshop. A monster video about mastering subdivisions/ polyrhythms / nested tuplets. Probably the most insane rhythmic training on the market today
Hello Rodrik3 You have to invest a lot of time into it. I started out in 1994! The flow, dynamics, choice of syllabels & feel comes with confidence that really means take one step at a time and put some energy into that I make these videos to inspire you guys ( + to sell my books :) and its not the beginnerstuff but more a look on the horizont.: revieling the stuff that you can do with KONNAKOL and a creative mind.
This might sound a bit cheasy :) - but If you hear the music is in your mind - then you can do stuff that is beyond your technical ability! By the way- join my Facebook group "KONNAKOL" as well :)
Hello Again Henrik, thanks for your replu on my last comment...is improving a lot my konnakol and im starting to use it in composing...Im exploring several exotic instruments, but my main instrument is the didgeridoo, in which i use the breathing pattern as a base for the rhythm.. because i cant use circular breathing in konnakol, im having some difficulty, in breathing while practicing long phrases...any tips? Thanks
Absolutely LOVED this tutorial! Helps self-learners like myself get a grasp on these concepts. I tried purchasing the bundle on your site, but it's sold out?
Hello Henrik, i bought you book a few weeks a go...in the beginning it was pure evolution, but when i reach the tihai pages i dont know very well how to evolute, i feel like i miss more labguage, it all around the same, taka, takita, tadakimi, etc.. how could i get more dynamic in my practice, in this video, i hear to great dynamic of your sylabal and rhytmic choices...but its too fast, to understand, only the fist one its possible for me to go along with it
The formula to create tihaï’s is quite clear but if I understand it correctly the larger groups are left to fill in (sub-divide) at our own personal discretion - is that correct?
Thank you, Henrik! This is amazing material! I saw it just yesterday and I feel very excited. Do you have your book in english?
Sorry for my late answer Александр Остапенко - yes I do :

Do you use Ta-di for both 3-3 as for 3-2 or 2-3? I'm also totally lost at how you use the syllables for the 19 one 😅.
