A time was had. I absolutely love seeing Ruka’s friends show up and show out for her birthday. I completely agree with her when it comes to presents versus presence. I much prefer seeing my people show up for me. Also, I loved the Beyoncé conversation. She is such a professional and gifted artist. It was nice hearing your thoughts on the film. I have the same reservations about the theater being overwhelmed with excitement and I end up not enjoying the show but nevertheless I’ll be there this weekend.

I flew to LA to see Beyonce’s birthday show and it was everything! Watching the film was like reliving the experience again. My only regret was I wanted to be close enough to breathe the bronchitis air as you say. My seats were good, but I needed to be closer.
