Hi, I'm planning to buy a monitor and I can't decide between MSI G255F and AOC 24G4. Im buying a monitor so that I can play competitive games like valorant and I'm hoping to connect it to my laptop in hopes of getting higher fps. Which one is better in achieving higher fps and is suitable for competitive gaming?
LG ultragear is also the option. The one that contains pivot features. G255F doesn't have HDR. But the LG one supports HDR 10. If you have a display port option only then you can use HDR. Gigabyte has some problems. This review is somewhat false and biased. G255F doesn't have that much ghosting. It's way better at the price point it's competing.
I have used AOC 24g4 for 3 years now and the only reason I need a new monitor is just because when I traveled to a different country my monitor screen arrived broken to a point I needed to travel with my monitor because I just liked it alot it can be adjusted at any direct and up and down so smoothly and the screen never gave me any issues
The g255F is 10usd cheaper than the g244F E3. Which one do you recommend buying? What matters most to me are the colors. Do you think it's worth paying 10 dollars more to have a smaller screen and a little better colors? Is there such a difference with the colors?

The G244f e2 has a bit more vibrant colors, but they're almost the same model with a different stand and design. I still tend to lean towards the g244f e2, though, since I'm not a fan of V-shaped stands.

Well, the g4 is like $100+ more expensive, but if your budget goes that far, it is a great choice. Though, if you want to save money, as you'd not be really using its full 240hz potential on consoles, the Msi G255pf E2 will work just as fine
