This album ends with a 32 minute multi part song called Cassandra Gemini, it's insane. L'Via L'viaquez is my favorite from them Also yes Frusciante and Flea are both on this album but Flea is on Trumpet. L'via L'viaquez has a guitar solo from Frusciante featured on it
Epic song, I suggest you to do Ilyena next, it's from their 2008's album The Bedlam in Goliath, with a different drummer (as skilled tho), it's a pretty short song for The Mars Volta (about 4 min) but the song is very dense and funky, you'll love it!
Such a great opening to my favorite Mars Volta album, and one of my favorite songs from them! If you want more of this frenetic Mars Volta sound, I'd recommend Day Of The Baphomets, Tetragrammaton or, if you're up for a really long piece, Cassandra Gemini is absolutely fantastic. If you want other bands with a similar sound, Black Midi comes to mind (although I only listened to their latest album), really chaotic stuff, maybe try Sugar/Tzu or The Race Is About To Begin. If you want something softer in that regard, you could try some The Dear Hunter songs like City Escape or The Procession.
HA! Lol. 🤦 I did. And you seem to be the only person to catch it. Thanks for stopping by. By the way, have a new TMV reaction in the can that will be released in coming days!
Yes frusciante appeared in this album, also flea but only on Miranda that ghost just isn't holy anymore playing Trumpets but no bass on this album... try the day of the baphomets by them
This album isn't a great driving album if you space out. I always find myself driving 45 during the lulls and 90 during the frantic parts and never 65 like I'm supposed to be.
You shouldn’t wait a few months to do the next one… Really you should just dedicate your next several videos to just them😅 Their obvious opus is the finisher for this album (Could also be the title track but in most realms it’s Cassandra Gemini… 32 minute masterpiece). I personally think you should do the first two tracks back to back in one reaction off of the bedlam in Goliath. They are called, Aberinkula and Metatron and they are in my opinion, the greatest opening tracks of their repertoire

What an intro to an album 🔥
They are eclectic. Vaping recommended. 😎😏😎
Frusciante also did the lead on their Amputechture album
the combo of everything with the bassline and mellotron behind it beginning around 10 minutes is just perfect...
The "ooh yeah" part near the end gives me goosebumps every time!
In my opinion, this is a perfect album. It’s also my favorite album hands down. Everything about Frances the Mute is perfect.

I especially liked the part where you said "de-loused in the CREAMatorium." 😂

...and then when you get to where you are going, you cant remember the drive but can remember listening to the album.
