I can't believe it has been 4-5 years already, this season was incredible and it remains one of my favourites, the vibe it gives me is amazing. This team was absolutely brilliant, if Ronaldo never came, maybe things would've been better. It is such a shame that Dybala didn't shine again after that season. Higuain and Dybala this season were magnificent together.
That's my exact thought about that season and on Juve in general. Higuain and Dybala were enough for the attack, the midfield was the area where the team was really lacking quality (and still is that way to this day). I do my best to include as much of the play before the goals as I can in these videos, it is sometimes hard though as UEFA blocks videos that include Champions League goals, so every time the video gets blocked you have to re-render it (by cropping more of the image) and re-upload it which takes lots of time. Ma che dybala era 2 o3 gol a partita fortissimo e sopratutto che squadra devastante sotto tutti i punti che ricordi ,spero ritorni una juve cosi ,forza juve sempre
Absolutely, I loved this team. It wasn't the best we had in the last few years, but it was up there. I personally think that even if it lacked something in some regards (for example our midfield was pretty mediocre at that time), the chemistry was pretty nice and we had a really good coach to back us up. Fortunately Allegri is back, let's hope for the best going forward 💪
True... However I think that Dybala never performed sub-par, he just wasn't used enough to properly shine. Ronaldo really made Juve and the coaches center their play around the forward, and I think this really slowed down Dybala's developement, both tecnically and tactically. I still think he is one of the greatest youngsters in the world, and his left foot is pure brilliance. I really hope Juve will keep him, maybe getting rid of other players and focusing more on his talent...
True, however Lazio especially that year had a really great team. Milinkovic Savic and Luis Alberto are really powerful midfielders and that was the area of the pitch where Juve suffered the most and had the worst players in these last few years. Thanks for the comment man!
True, those were big mistakes. Ronaldo wasn't necessary at all, since we already had many strikers, with all the options to give them scoring opportunities, with Cuadrado and Douglas Costa crosses for example. Also Marotta was one of the best in his role, and we can clearly see that confirmed by the results of his operations... after many trophies with Juve, in a couple of years he got Inter to lift a trophy. Lasltly I loved Allegri, such a competent and well spoken manager, much better than the ones who came after him. Thanks for the comment!
