I just found out that this song was composed by Ito Rapadas of Neocolours. He told the story on Paco's podcast. It was supposed to be for Neocolours, but by that time they had already disbanded. I can totally imagine them playing this. Such a beautiful song.

It would be another surefire hit for Neocolours as they're the one who popularized this OPM pop-rock sound in the late '80s via their best-selling debut album "Making It" released in 1988. You would hear that "Neocolours sound" influences on some of the OPM hits from that time like Jamie Rivera's earlier hits( Hey It's Me, I've Fallen For You, Mahal Naman Kita), Ogie Alcasid's earlier hits( Nandito Ako, Sa Kanya, Pagkakataon), Kay Palad Mo by Lilet, Mahal Na Rin Kita by Pops Fernandez, just to name a few. The advent of Neocolours(along with The Dawn) ushered in a new era in the Philippine recording industry that is now known as the early '90s band explosion that opened the doors to Introvoys, Afterimage, Side A, Eraserheads, Rivermaya, True Faith and the rest is history.
