i think the brew would just be 1 abilitie witch makes the unit weaker to fire but increase its leadership and give physical resistance

Ever since your video on Ghoros and remembering how much drinking was a cornerstone of the Centigors and Beastmen, I've been thinking of how to implement a drunken buff system, and it's along the lines to what you were describing here. Drunkenness could reach 3 different stacks:
Level 1 grants increased weapon strength and melee defense (or maybe gets some HP back; something to indicate they can take more hits), but lowers melee attack,.
Level 2 is more of the same, and gains immune to psychology, but chance to rampage.
By level three they're buffed, unbreakable and rampaging. No more buffs can be refreshed, and once the effect concludes, the units gain "Hangover." The unit can no longer receive any Drunkenness buffs, and could even lose some stats and/or HP. Any unit that can dispense drinks has a limited count. The player has to pick between keeping a buzz going over his entire army, or sending a goon squad on a drunken rampage.

Josef Bugman could be pretty hard to roll out as a Lord since Belegar was the character that rolled out with the implementation of rangers, and even got an early access to them. I suppose Josef's effects could give us upkeep reduction, but they've never given us a lord with a renewed focus on units AFTER they've been released. Although I can still imagine his campaign effects:
25% reduced upkeep for Rangers, another 25% with his namesake.
All Brewery buildings give additional public order.
Josef's army stack has an increased change to ambush, detect and intercept when in Ambush stance (or maybe even Stalk like Skaven).
Vanguard deployment for entire army.
Playing Josef would certainly be more appealing to me since he wouldn't have that lousy mechanic of needing to slog it all the way to Eight Peaks.

In the cinematic Thorgrim is mentioning some of the biggest grudges done against the dwarfs, if i remenber correctly he says Clan Gunnisson, Karak 8 peaks, and josef bugman.
Clan Gunnisson was a warrior clan settled in Karag Agrilwutraz, but when the fortress fell they migrated to Karaz-a-Karak, where they have been serving as elite warriors until now. (I dont know why he mentions this clan specifically, there are a lot of more clans that have a similar history, so their grudge doesn't really stand out)
Karak 8 peaks is the most important lost karak, it size rivalizes with Karaz-a-Karak itself and there have been multiple attempts to reconquer it.
And Josef Bugman, when he says Josef Bugman he is referring to the destruction of the bugman brewery, this maybe doesn't seem like much, but for the dwarfs the beer is REALLY important, so losing the only place in the world that produce the best ale that ever existed is a very big grudge.
So basically is not that he has done something bad, but that the greenskins did something bad to him, and to all the dwarf race.

I do love Bugman, we are never going to get him short of legendary heroes, which I am super down with, simply because we already have the Rangers really. I think there is a rune that can give regeneration but that's only for the character you put it on but that's about as close as you could get.

Think I may have found you a replacement for Hearthstone, "the Horus Heresy: legions" pretty much the same game but with 31st century Legions hell you get to start out as Loken and play out the whole thing. I bet you could make videos too its in early access so not too many people will have done it and weirdly people go nuts for mobile games for whatever reason
You seemed to have confused Bugman's rangers with Ulthar's rangers. Ulthar's are the RoR with the throwing axes and great weapons whereas Bugman's have crossbows and regen and are just an elite unit.

I'm convinced Bugman should have come with the King and the Warlord dlc (two dwarf lords/two Greenskins) but I think the whole Grombrindal debacle scuppered it.
Its criminal that we have Bugman's Rangers but not Josef to lead them.

I would have made Bugman's rangers a regiment of renown though, and added longbeard rangers to the normal roster instead. I mean, what they did was weird.
It was def weird mate. I used the Andrew Overload mod for Warhammer 1 and 2 and it added Josef Bugman as a hero - also Snagla Grobspit and Gitilla - it was ver, very good. Sadly it causes crashes for the last few weeks and I've had to delete it. Shame as it was great having Bugman bolster my Dawi armies. Had ol' Trustworthy and Bugman's Tankard abilities - the latter was handy for unit replenishment.

I've noticed in your recent videos about heroes becoming lords that you don't like it, however you never seem to notice that Wulfrik the wanderer was never a lord either, he was a chaos hero. However some special heroes fill in a niche or legendary lord spot better than some of the actual legendary lords.
It's more that I think we have a lot of great lord options before the need to dip into heroes! :) but more to your point.. Norsca doesn't have a ton of options!
Bugman would work better as a hero unite
