Thanks so much. This helped me put the tension assembly back on o White model 793. It was taken apart when I bought the machine. By watching this I was able to put it back together for my daughter.

This is the exact video I needed this morning BUT the camera needed to be about 5X CLOSER to the machine SO I COULD SEE what you were doing BETTER!!! When you make another video, please do this next time. Thanks.

Thank you so much! Most people have no idea how to do this or even want to know. Once you master this you will be king of your machine! I've had the center peg of this assembly break on two Vintage Kenmore machines. If only you could buy that one part to fix it even though getting the other parts put back on just right can be a challenge but I did it! However,I'm still having issues with the checkspring not being springy enough. I'm determined to get this right yet.😶

Very good, looked for this, finally found. After hours of messing around because a lot of parts flew off. Not I’ll be back to sewing.

I bought a replacement spring and didn't realize that it was wider than the original. China! After hours of tinkering with it, I then compared it to the original. CRAP! So then I took my original spring and got it bent decently, reassembled it and it works fine now.

Thank you for your videos and expertise! I'm salvaging a Kenmore 158.1602 and have most resolved. I noticed you have the cam followers in the basket. Mine has the thin return springs not positioned correctly. When you reassemble I would appreciate a picture! Thank you.

Thanks for the tutorial. I've done Singer tension assemblies, but haven't attempted Kenmore yet. A bit more complex than Singer.

Thanks for taking the time to do this. However I could not fully follow because you were not showing what you were doing close enough. Half the screen showed your bench and tools which was a waste of screen real estate. Cheers

Por qué mi Kenmore enrreda el hilo de arriba en el cangrejo y la bobina y no cose

Would you be able to share your Oregon business info? Name and location? I reassembled my top tension several times and the thread is still to tight even on zero. I’d like to call or visit.
