Next time buy an OB2 scanner and it will literally tell you what is wrong with your car when your “check engine light” is on. Then you go to O’Reilly or Autozone and purchase your sensor. They even provide a free scan and tell you the issue. I use to work there before I became a nurse.

Dealerships are the worst! I don't take my car to my dealership anymore after I took it to get serviced, then suddenly the windshield wiper fluid wouldn't spray out properly anymore. Got my friend to take a look for me and we found multiple SLASHES in the hose thingy. These MFers did it, but when I confronted them they denied everything and tried to suggest I did it! They're always trying to rip you off.

NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. i know thats you first instinct becuase they "know everything" and the car is from toyota but they will charge tf out of you! local small mechanic shops will charge you less or you can even go to oreilys and get a free check engine light. $755 just to tape up the wire is insane, but im not surprised the dealership just scams you.
