Why I'm Ditching Big Tech for Rumble

- Hey gearheads, let's talk real for a sec. You know I usually spend my days gushing over Milwaukee's latest hammer drill or dissecting the DeWalt miter saw's dust collection like it's some kinda existential mystery. But today, I'm putting down the power tools and picking up the microphone, because something ain't right in the workshop, and it's got nothin' to do with a dull blade.
It's about T-Mobile, folks. Apparently, they're now the thought police for our text messages, slapping fines on folks for using words they deem "hateful" - even in private conversations! Now, I try to steer clear of politics like a busted level, but when it comes to free speech, I gotta clamp down and hold on tight.
Think about it: if they can muzzle us in texts, what's next? Banning Ryobi leaf blowers for disturbing the peace of mind of a particularly grumpy squirrel? Heck, maybe Flex sanders will be outlawed for leaving swirl marks on reality itself! It's a slippery slope, friends, and I ain't one for sawdust-covered blind corners.
That's why I'm taking a stand. UA-cam, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok - they've been playing gatekeeper with our voices for long enough, shadow-banning opinions like they're rogue splinters. But no more. I'm packing my metaphorical toolbox and heading to Rumble - a platform where free speech still gets a workbench and a damn good warranty.
Now, I know some of you might be thinkin', "Hey Soalz, stick to the power tools, man! We don't need a political sermon." But here's the thing: this ain't politics, it's principle. This is about the right to have a good old-fashioned, uncensored discourse, even if it involves heated debates about the optimal blade angle for a circular saw. It's about not letting Big Tech silence us with their digital duct tape.
So, join me on Rumble, gearheads. Let's build a workshop where ideas can spark and fly, where discourse gets a fresh coat of paint, and where the only fines handed out are for leaving sawdust on the floor. Remember, free speech ain't just a hashtag, it's the lifeblood of innovation, the engine that drives progress, and the hammer that smashes censorship to bits. So, grab your metaphorical wrenches, folks, and let's build a platform where every voice gets heard, loud and proud.
This is just the beginning, friends. The dust is settling, but the sparks are flyin'. And who knows, maybe one day, we'll even get T-Mobile to apologize for trying to fine a perfectly good text message. Now that's a project I can get behind with a big ol' grin and a Milwaukee in my hand.

I will still be posting videos on UA-cam but will not be interacting with people unless I have come to know them. It's an unfortunate step but too much of the Social Media companies believe they are the thought police.
I already download it months ago been debating if I should transfer my videos there
I'm definitely not going to give up my UA-cam channel I've been putting videos out since 2016 but you are correct rob got to be careful in this day of sensitive snowflakes when I started in 2016 it wasn't the same environment I'm probably taking a risk with this comment I'll get flagged lol😅😅
@bluemantom77 that's up to you
I'm not giving it up. I just won't be interacting with people here as much as I have
@@ToolswithSoAlzI'm pretty much the same way in some ways here but there's too many fences and red tape I have to jump over I'm getting sick of it I put it out videos and they pulled them over I have idea bs
Been following a number of channels on Rumble for several years now. As of today, there’s not very many tool channels over there. Happy to see that you’re going to be a Trailblazer and leading by example 👍
I hope so
Lets rumble. I want my freedoms too.
That is shocking that they are going this far. Private message platforms shouldn't be subject to censorship. I had thought about rumble before but didn't create an account.
I created one last night and will be trying to use it as my major platform for interaction from here on out.
@@ToolswithSoAlz That's cool
@@ToolswithSoAlzit’s only third party vendors that are getting fined without getting a customers consent to send the message
@@ToolswithSoAlzI got to figure out mine it's already there but I don't think I put up anything yet if I did I'll give link
@dragoooon9561 that's not true at all. Things you can be fined for include hate speech, racism, seismic, and misgender classification. Well, that's according to T-Mobile and their policy. How often do you get third party messages containing any of that? Also, T-Mobile made it clear it would also be applied to private messages. Ypu didn't read the policy and you're only taking someone's word for it.
Following on Rumble
Thank you
good shit! I’ll see you on rumble! ❤
See you there
Hey Tools. Can you do a DCF 850/845 vs triple hammer?
I can try
I can’t seem to find your channel on rumble, do you have a link?
It's ToolswithSoalz all one word
@@ToolswithSoAlz thanks
@Wesstyy_ my pleasure
I will meet you there.
Thank you
respect
Tmobile will NOT fine it's customers , instead Third party vendors that send mass messaging campaigns for companies . Thanks
Do you get a lot of hate speech, seismic, racism, or talk about weapons from third parties? Also, you know they consider any messaging app that isn't the official T-Mobile app as a third party. Yeah, actually read their policy
Beware of the eternal one with a snout that can be mistaken for that of a bulldozer root ripper. They have no roots of their own and uproot all others.
What?
@@ToolswithSoAlz Synagogues.
@phalanyx3478 I respect the Jewish people
Followed you there
Thank you
Shadow banning creators is real. More power to you brother❤️
Thank you
I get it
I was your first Rumble follower! T-mobile is not nice. Let’s go Brandon! Freedom of speech and everything else.
I love it
You don’t say. Now you own the platform. I dare you! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So no more YT lives?
No, I will still be posting here but will not be interacting with folks I don't know or whose names are not familiar to me
I support and understand your decision! It is why I don't have any social media of my own. I borrowed this YT login from a friend that pays for premium 🤭
Rumble time baby.
Oh God rwe are witnessing the fall of Rome. So sad
I'll still post here but my main interaction with folks will be through Rumble
I had not heard that T-Mobile was going to start fining people for stuff they put in their text messages but it doesn't surprise me
@darrenporsch even in this I had to watch what I said or UA-cam would have limited it or taken it down
Followed. Couldn't agree more.
Thank you
Well said 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸 I have rumble will follow u there
Thank you
T-Mobile sucks
Start texting with signal, they can't read your texts.
Good tip
I've been waiting for all the people I watch to go over to rumble, I want to dump youtube pretty bad.
I understand
That is kinda scary tbh
Agreed
Im staying
Iirc it's only for commercial numbers/purposes and doesn't apply to private accounts. It's fining companies for sending out mass texts essentially.
I'd be a bit weary still, but based on their actual ToS that's what it states. Gonna be a lot of policy over our rights in the upcoming future when it comes to the Internet.
Third party apps are any that are not theirs like imessages or the RMS messaging. Also you don't get a lot of hate speech, racism, or sexism from from companies?
Following you on Rumble
Thank you
I hear you i will follow you ❤
Thank you
The wireless carrier is instituting new fines for third-party vendors that send mass messaging campaigns on behalf of other businesses, not for individual consumers. These fines apply to texts that discuss sex, hate, alcohol, firearms or tobacco under certain circumstances, such as if the content violates federal law or is sent without an age verification system.
What third-party vendors have any of those and why did T-Mobile themselves include private conversations in their actual policy? Maybe don't just take someone's word for it and read the policy yourself
