In this huge house they don't even have a spare room or a guest room!!!
They should have shown her own new room but with bare minimum furniture, empty closet, nothing that she could say is hers.
That would have been way more hard hitting, than being forced to be a roommate of a cousin.
Step parents are parents & mehram forever. Else marriage were not permissible. Religion actually encourages & prefers to marry someone with children( man or woman) & blended families. For new parents, Don’t marry,take responsibility of the kids or adopt if not ready for it In this drama. Here she is half sister also of the kids not step sister . Here step father should’ve been even more protective & caring of daughter after wife’s passing. This is jahalat and only drama. Don’t learn from it

This drama is strange. Somethings are so unrealistic. If a father goes to pick his daughter from his ex-wife’s house it’s quite reasonable to expect that a woman from the family goes with him. And this Farjad character is an absurd and bipolar, Tehreem is mentally unstable.

She is such a bland person, with no aspirations of her own.
In the previous family of hers she used to help in chores when nobody really needed, indicating she is person who is okay to be sidelined.
Here, too, she just came as she was asked to. And she will get married one day as she will be asked to.
