I am from Canada and have been looking for this game for over a year. So hopefully the availability is soon in my neck of the woods. Thank you for sharing this video and insight 🙏
Right now it's only in Japanese on Amazon JP www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%83%9B%E3%83%93%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B8%E3%83%A3%E3%83%91%E3%83%B3-%E5%A4%A9%E4%B8%8B%E9%B3%B4%E5%8B%95DELUXE-2-4%E4%BA%BA%E7%94%A8-10%E6%89%8D%E4%BB%A5%E4%B8%8A%E5%90%91%E3%81%91-%E3%83%9C%E3%83%BC%E3%83%89%E3%82%B2%E3%83%BC%E3%83%A0/dp/B0CMZPMJ2M But yeah hopefully soon it'll be available worldwide!
@@TheBoardGameDojo a little of both is appropriate! I was wondering if you had any updated coop recommendations? Looking at Ito, but may hoping to pick up something a little weightier that doesn’t involve lots of text, I’ve heard things about kradia for example.
@@dadoeboi101 oh wow that's a good question. We don't play too many co-ops and the ones we do play are usually either party games, have lots of text (Japanese murder mysteries), or are from the US/Germany. Umm I know that Tokyo Sidekick has an English version and is popular, Lemures got some traction awhile ago. Besides that I'm not really sure, sorry 😓
Just got this imported for around $35 after shipping (also got a few other japan games, nokosu dice, nana, startups). I had played the original and liked how unique it was, and was stoked to pick the deluxe up! Great video and summary of the game and differences! Any other suggestions you have for games on my next order?
Oooh good question! Depends what you are looking for! If you have a discord, I would join ours, there are quite a few people who have good game recommendations for ordering abroad :)
Got the original brand new for € 10 on a sale here in western EU, so for me the price percentage for the upgrade is way steeper 😅 A clever, feisty game, not worth deluxing imo for the travel size and clarity of the vanilla model, plus those cubes are a cherished staple of european board gaming experience, and add relatability.
@@TheBoardGameDojo Unfortunately we consumers in Europe still seem a bit snooty towards asian games, they don't get impulse bought a lot, nor prominently put on shelves by retailers. It's more of a confidential hipster, collector's item, conversation starter kind of thing here, hence limited stock and frequent price cuts ( Saashi being the loudest victim ). As for many, Oink was my gateway, they have the strongest foothold here : I was pleasantly surprised to see Scout on the runner-up list for Spiel !

You must be reading my mind! Yet another game I was on the fence about, you’ve convinced me to add it to my ever-growing list.
I don't know whether to say you're welcome or sorry to your wallet 😅

Really enjoying your videos. I loved this game and threw it into an import order I am doing.
Thank you so much! Great choice! Let us know what you think of it!

@@SimHB Oh that's really interesting to know! Hopefully there will be a change soon. I know Spiel and Tokyo Game Market now have a partnership!
