- In this video Paul and I take a flight from Toronto and head down to Key Largo in Florida USA. We took a rental car from Fort Lauderdale and Drove Down through Miami. Which to me looks just like it does in Scarface and Grand theft Auto Vice City. We then arrived in Key Largo and Checked into our Dive shop for the trip Horizon Divers. horizondivers.com/
we then headed over to our hotel for the duration of the trip The Bayside Inn Key Largo www.baysidekeylargo.com/
The hotel was nice, it had Guest use Beach, Paddle Boards, Kayaks, Swimming pool and games
First day we just chilled out mostly and ate at a Place called Snooks snooks.com/
They have some really cool Tiki hut Boats called Cruisin' Tikis cruisintikiskeylargo.com/
We unfortunately didn't have time to try these.
First day of Diving we Arrived at the docks and Found out that we were diving with James from the UA-cam Channel Divers Ready!
/ @diversready
They say don't meet celebrities in real life, but this guy was straight up a great guy to dive with, he was teaching a course on the same boat and throughout the video I bump into him a couple of times including a moment when we do some underwater clean up together.
The dive sites we visit are the Spiegel Grove, Elbow Reef / City of Washington and The Hannah Bell Wreck
Later that Day we went to a restaurant called the Fish House fishhouse.com/
that was recommended to us by our Waitress at Snooks, which is meant to have the BEST Key Lime Pie in Key Largo.
The next morning we got up Nice and Early for our next 2 dives on the Spiegel Grove again and unfortunately that's where this episode ends.

Next Episode we will be continuing our trip with more reefs and wrecks and much more wildlife, we will also be capping off our trip with a ride on an airboat in the Florida Everglades.

Very cool! Headed to Key Largo next year and will definitely get the Spiegel Grove in there. Really like the quality of your videos. What are you using for a camera?
These videos were all filmed on GoPro hero 11, thanks for watching
Loved the video! Poor shark, that can't be comfortable.
the hooks right? there was more than one with hooks and line trailing behind them. such a privilege to see them though!
@@samwhereanywherejust saw your video but when you see that kind of stuff you can call people who are with conservation
enjoyed. gorgeous -bye~ 🤩
Thank you!
What are those big metal tanks on you backs used for?...Good job.
For reaching 30 meters as an amature lol thanks!
@@samwhereanywhere I did 30 meters in Mexico last year with no tank. Your video's are getting very good.
@roberthumble6389 30?!? Nicely done, you've definitely out done my freedive records I'm only up to 25 meters so far, but I don't get many opportunities to practice as often as I would like
Great video. What is the name of the dive center ? Can you share pls. Thanks
horizondivers.com/, sorry, I thought that was in the video, glad you enjoyed the video
Does the Poseidon Xtream need a seperate pressure release valve like the jetstream or is it internal?
I'm not really familiar with the workings of the Jetstream reg. but from what I can see on the Tec spec page they look like they have a similar mechanism
www.poseidon.com/en-ba/regulators/tech-specs/
the Xstream is one of the favorites for my diving club in Canada because of its cold weather abilities.
The guy from Miami Tech Diving is that his operation or just coincidence he was there?
he was just there, apparently he used their charter frequently when he is teaching. so for me it was a lucky coincidence!
How much does it cost you for diving ?
These were 95 USD per charter (2 dives, tanks, and weights included)
"Promo SM"
Um..... indeed, thanks for watching
